Clothes strewn allover the floor. A pile of rubbish dumped in a blue, plastic pooh bag just behind the door. Food crumbs allover the top surface of the wooden table. Smudges on the windows and door. Old newspapers piled up at the far corner. A laptop placed carelessly on the untidy couch with blankets and sheets on top.
As Eve looked around, she couldn't help but feel disgusted at the garbage of a house. The mere sight of the livingroom was disturbing.
She couldn't even bring herself to sit on the couch. She decided to follow Cindy to the kitchen where she had disappeared to make her coffee.
The filth and stench in the kitchen was even more startling than the livingroom.
