Det. Eve tapped Cindy's shoulder as she reached for her coat. She then turned to Leo and warned him jokingly,
"If you make her disappear, I will make sure you disappear too!"
Leo and Cindy chuckled but Eve kept a straight, stern face as she reached for the door and shut it, leaving the two sitting on the couch.
It was silent.
The awkward kind of silence.
