(Beth's POV) Consciousness came and went as more time passed. I am actively trying to stay awake but it's growing harder and harder to do. I knew I had a concussion and a couple of cracked ribs, not to mention the various gashes and bruises forming on my body. Whatever drug they'd given me before is currently still making my brain and body slow and lethargic. The i***t with the knife had fallen asleep some time ago and I'd been weakly pulling at the restraints but found that I'm not strong enough to pop them loose. Even if I was, what would I do? It becomes too hard to focus anymore and I finally allow myself to focus on other memories. ****Flashback Memory**** I'd been roughing around in the fields with my best friend, Noel, no more than eleven years old. We knew what we were doing.
