Chapter 16 The transportation consisted of an older van, dirt spattered with one gray primer coated front fender. The driver and his companion looked like hunters returning to the city after a week in the mountains. The van pulled up to the cabin early in the morning, causing Mark more than a bit of panic until Paul reassured him the two men were ones he knew and trusted. Mark and Paul got into the back, sitting on the floor of the van so they wouldn’t be visible through the front or rear windows. An hour later they were exiting in a garage that looked like it belonged to a somewhat messy homeowner, from the oil spots on the floor and the workbench along one wall holding a miscellany of tools laid out haphazardly. “If this is any indication of what the inside of the house looks like…” M
