Alexia's hands were on Hayden's warm broad chest. She could feel his heartbeat under her hands, which were immobilized by his large, warm hands. Warmth exuded from his whole body which caged her against the wall. Her senses were assaulted by his proximity, and she could barely think straight. She raised her head to look him straight in the eyes. His intense gaze made her knees go weak.
However, she stared at him defiantly, "You wanted me to hear you out, so talk."
"I don't want to talk. I just want to stay here and gaze into your eyes all day long. Maybe forever. Did you know that you have flecks of blue in your irises? They are in the innermost part of your irises, just next to your pupils," he said softly.
