Chapter Nineteen
'What were you two doing up there?' Mum asked as we walked in to the kitchen hand in hand, we shared a look and a smile. 'Actually-' She held her hands up, 'I don't want to know'.
'No, you really don't'. I joked and we sat down. Mum put out plates down in front of us with a decent piece of the pie. 'Aww, thanks mum'. I told her and dug in. Every one seemed to be in a better mood now, well, every one but Chad.
I looked up at him and smiled.
'You ok Chad, you look a little grumpy over there'. He just looked at me.
'Yeah. I'm fine'.
'Good'. I gave him a big toothy grin and turned my attention back to Billy. He had some cream on his lip, so I wiped it away and he leaned over and kissed me.
