Chapter Twelve
'I wondered where you had got to Tilly'. Ava greeted me happily, walking over, she wrapped me in a hug before I could even react. When I didn't hug her back, she pulled away and shrugged it off. 'We were just getting to know your boyfriend.. Why didn't you say you had a fella?' She asked walking back over to Chad and smiled up at him. I completely avoided looking at him at all.
'Yeah well, we haven't been talking, have we?' I told her matter of factly. There was an awkward silence until Mum broke it by telling us to plate up out dinner and eat. I just grabbed some chicken fried rice, chips and a few chicken balls before heading to the fridge and getting two cans of Pepsi, one for me and one for Billy.
