Chapter Twenty Five
I managed to pull myself together enough to finish getting dressed and go down stairs. It was now 8 pm and the party had officially started. My plan, to get so blind drunk, I forget all about Chad and the fact he had broken things off with me. He seemed to have a valid reason, but, I didn't want to hear it.
'Hey, you ok?' Billy asked me. 'You've been so quiet tonight'. I just shrugged. I felt bad, I wasn't purposely punishing him because I was upset, but it was really coming across that way.
'I'm sorry, I just.. Feel pretty shitty tonight'.
'Why baby?' I looked up at his sweet, worried face, and instantly felt guilty. No, I wasn't going to do this to him. I shook my head.
