We wandered around the Mall, Not really doing any thing all that interesting. We went to the Game shop and got Chad his Xbox game, and then, it was on to shopping for my mum and Ava.
'I have to go get a surprise last minute present for Ava, do you mind?' I shook my head. 'I'd invite you along but... It might be awkward given... You know?'
'Why?' I was genuinely confused. I smiled sweetly at him but he looked awkward.
'It's an engagement ring she told me she wanted'...And just like that, the smile faded.
'Oh...'. We just stood there, silent, just... Really f*****g awkward! 'I'll see you later, text me when your done'. I walked off before he could say any thing else, and I knew he was going to because he opened his mouth just as I turned and walked off.
