Chapter 8On Thursday evening, Dane prepared a bag to take with him to the home in the Blackberry Arches. He was still unsure about the whole dynamics of moving in with Urie and Ben, but since it was temporary, Dane decided he would take that chance.
What was going to be more difficult about it was talking to his family. He had a weekly call with his elderly mother, and it was usually on Thursdays.
They’d had a long contentious relationship, Dane and his mother. He had two brothers, no sisters. And when Dane was twelve, his father had left and divorced his mother to go start an entirely new family with another woman.
