“Need any help?” a voice rang.
Without hesitation Clarine took bait and answered without hesitation. She had seen a ray of light in the darkness she had just experienced and she was not willing to lose him. She might not have liked him, she still did not but letting a life float away without doing anything was too tragic and painful. Seeing the color in a person’s eyes doe out was something she could not do. Not again.
