The ride to their detonation had been one made in silence. At a certain point, orders had been given for them to split up. There were four battalions in total, each with their own commander and duty to uphold. Some of the battalions split further into platoons and headed to areas that did not hold much of a threat but still had a huge impact on what was to come.
As it stood, one of these few platoons were standing on guard while awaiting further orders. Their environment was not one that was advantageous to them. Their terrain was unfamiliar to them which made them more tense than they had to be. However, being trained warriors, their faces did not show how tense they were or how afraid but instead they seemed alert to their surrounding.
Their position was situated inside a vast forest
