Thank you for reading Crown Of Grief. This is where I normally say that I hope you enjoyed it, but I don't feel like those words are fully appropriate for this story.
I lost my Mum on the 1st March 2023, she'd just turned 54. A lot of the grief and hurt I've felt since came out in writing Crown Of Grief (in April 2023). I always planned to give Princess Iset (and her Sekhmet Blessed bodyguard) a story, though I'll admit that this wasn't the story I actually had planned, it was actually going to be before the Pharaoh died in the main story. But sometimes, characters have a way of grabbing you that can't be explained. I think the fact that I knew Iset would be going through the loss of a parent made me gravitate towards this as the place where her story came out, especially as
