Strong hands clamped onto her arms and held her back as the train pulled into the station and hissed to a stop. “Are you alright, Miss?” Maggie turned to find a porter eyeing her with a troubled demeanor. She looked blankly at him. “Yes, I’m fine.” She spoke softly. She knew she was not. He released her arms but continued to watch her with concern.
