Fast-forward to May 7 I could not wait any longer for my alarm clock to go off at 6:00 a.m. I decided to get up and sit on the couch in my room near the windows. As I swept the curtains to each side of my windows, the light of dawn crept into my room. I rubbed the corners of my eyes and stretched my arms. The sky has a pearly glow to it. My room is illuminated by the first rays of sunlight. The rising sun gives the morning sky a rosy hue. The scene is illuminated by golden sunlight rays.
