Nova’s P.O.V.
“What took you so long?” I asked Andy as she strode over to me.
“Had an unexpected guest this morning.” She laughed.
“Oh?” I arched a brow, wanting her to continue.
“Augustus, I couldn’t get him to his room, so Oz helped me put him in my room.”
“Hmm, I see.”
I didn’t mean to, but I let my jealous tone slip. I know Andy and I know she wouldn’t do anything, especially not with Augustus, but I couldn’t help the possessiveness I felt for a moment.
“You know nothing happened. I slept in my roommate’s bed when she never showed up. Augustus was dead drunk and passed out. How is Manny?” She asked me, reminding me why she had to take care of Auggie after I left.
