Main kaun hoon, main kahan hoon... Shanze ki awaaz uske kaanon mein goonj rahi thi aur woh zameen par baith kar use baraf ka mujsama bane dekh rahi thi. Yeh kya hogaya...
Aisha bed par sar rakhe ro rahi thi. Yeh kya hogaya... Yeh sab meri ghalti hai, maine ek masoom ki jaan le li... Main buri hoon... Na jaane woh kitni hi der aise hi baithi roti rahi. Achaanak se darwaza knock hua to woh seedhi hui. Isse pehle bell bhi baji thi lekin use kuch bhi sunai nahi de raha tha.
Aisha uthi, ghusal khane gayi, thande pani ke cheentay apne chehre par maare. Darwaza dobara knock hua to usne "Yes" kaha. Darwaze se shanasa chehra andar aa raha tha lekin Aisha ko dekhte hi woh chehra buri tarah se hairan hua.
"Kya hua Aisha? Tum theek ho? Tum... tumhe kya hua hai?"
Aisha ne thaka hua chehra upar kiya aur barh kar uske gale lag gayi.
Saima ghabra kar thoda peeche hui aur phir apna haath uski kamar par pherne lagi.
"Kya hua Aisha? Haan kuch to batao..."
"Main kya karun Saima, main... mujhse bohot badi ghalti hogayi..." Aisha bachon ki tarah ro rahi thi.
Itne mein kamre mein Kabira ki beti haath mein tray liye daakhil hui.
Saima ne chehra mod kar use dekha, "Arey yeh kya? Shanze kahan hai? Kya tumne Shanze ko nikal diya?"
Aisha usse alag hui, "Nahi woh... Shanze..." Aisha se bola nahi ja raha tha.
"Woh mujhe nahi pehchanti... Main kya karun, main uske liye ajnabi hoon..."
"Lekin Shanze hai kahan? Aur woh tumhe kyun nahi pehchanti? Tum... tum mujhe khul kar sab batao, hum dost hain Aisha, tum mujhse kuch chhupa rahi ho?"
Aisha ne use dekha aur aansu toot kar girne lage. Saima ne aage badh kar unhein saaf kiya aur phir use sambhalti hui bed ki taraf le gayi.
Jab tak unhon ne chai ke cups khatam kiye, tab tak Aisha saari rodaad Saima ko suna chuki thi.
"Oh acha to yeh baat hai..."
"Main kya karun Saima, main bohot darr gayi hoon. Yeh sab kaise theek hoga..."
"Dekho Aisha, sab theek ho jayega. Yeh jo kuch bhi ho raha hai, kya pata isme tumhare liye kuch acha ho?"
"Lekin itni buri haalat mein kya hi acha ho sakta hai? Aur tum yeh kaise keh sakti ho Saima?" Aisha ne pehlu badla tha.
"Dekho, agar tum Allah Ta'ala par yakeen rakhogi to sab theek ho jayega, bohot jald." Saima puri umeed se aankhon mein chamak liye use bata rahi thi.
"Lekin kaise? Ab to sab khatam ho chuka hai..." Woh jaise haar chuki thi.
"Aisha, main tumhe kayi saalon se jaanti hoon. Tumne yeh sab aise nahi kiya. Tumhara maazi tumhare peeche hai, tum use hi soch rahi ho. Tum Shanze mein apne waalidain dhoondti ho, isme apni purani dost dhoondti ho... Khud ko maaf karna seekho Aisha, tumhe mayoos nahi hona chahiye. Allah Ta'ala tumhare saath hain, woh sab dekh rahe hain. Tum unse dua mango, phir dekhna kaise karishma hota hai." Saima apni dhun mein bol rahi thi.
Aur Aisha bohot takleef se use dekh rahi thi.
"Allah Ta'ala tumhare dil ke haal ko jaanta hai, woh sab theek kar dega..." Saima ab use hosla de rahi thi.
Aisha ne apna sar uske kandhe par tika diya, "Tum bohot achi baatein karti ho..."
"Sab theek ho jayega, yeh sab ek imtihan hai. Aur jo hota hai, woh ache ke liye hota hai..."
Ab ki baar Saima ne uske kaapte hue haathon ko apne haathon mein liya.
"Lekin isme acha kya hai matlab..." Uski baat adhuri thi.
"Isme acha yeh hoga ke shayad ab tum Shanze ke saath acha bartao karo... ya use apni dost bana lo. Isme aur bhi bohot kuch ho sakta hai."
"Kya waqai aisa mumkin hai? Kya woh mujhe maaf karegi? Ya kya woh yeh sab hone ke baad mujhe apni dost keh sakegi?" Aisha jaise haar chuki thi.
"Haan bilkul! Tum Allah Ta'ala se dua mangti raho, woh kabhi use raaygaan nahi karta. Allah bohot narmi karte hain aur unhein narmi karna bohot pasand hai. Apna dil sab ke liye naram rakho, phir dekho kya hota hai..."
Saima ne pur umeed ho kar kaha.
"Haan lekin main to..." Agle alfaaz woh nahi bol sakti thi.
Saima jaanti thi ke woh kya kehna chahti hai.
"Main jaanti hoon aur is baare mein Allah Ta'ala ko bhi pata hai. Lekin koi baat nahi, agar tum sache dil se mango gi to tumhe sab milega."
Aisha seedhi hui, ek aansu toot kar uske gaal par thehra, jise usne apni ungliyon se saaf kiya.
"Allah Ta'ala waqai bohot ache hain..."
"Haan, woh bohot ache hain..."
Ab tak sab theek ho chuka tha. Aisha ko sukoon aa chuka tha aur Saima bhi khush thi.
Phone ki ghanti ne unhein hosh dilaya.
"Waqeel Akhtar Calling..."
Aisha ne use "Yes" kiya aur kaan ke saath laga liya.
Saima dam sadhe use dekhne lagi.
"Jee jee, Waqeel sahib... Okay, theek hogaya... Bohot bohot shukriya! Aap aa rahe hain? Oh acha, chalo main dekhti hoon... Aap jee, abhi aajaiye."
Aisha ne deewar par latakti ghari dekhi aur Waqeel sahib ko sab timing batane lagi.
Phone neeche kar ke usne muskara kar Saima ko dekha.
"Sab theek ho raha hai Saima, sab theek ho raha hai... Main jeet gayi!"
Jaise use koi bohot badi khushi mili thi.
"Lekin hua kya? Kya keh rahe the Akhtar sahib?"
"Yahi ke humari party case jeet gayi hai! Ab saari jaidad humare paas aa chuki hai... Mubarak ho!"
Saima ko laga shayad use sunne mein ghalti hui hai.
"Kya waqai?" Usne khud ko kehte suna.
"Haan bhai! Abhi Waqeel sahib ne hi bataya hai..."
Aisha khushi se uske kandhe sahla rahi thi.

=======================================================================================
"Who am I... where am I..."
Shanzay's voice echoed in Aisha's ears as she sat on the floor, watching her like a frozen statue.
"What has happened..."
Aisha stood up and rushed back to her room. As she left, the nurses quietly went back inside.
Aisha was lying on the bed, her head in her hands, crying.
"What have I done... this is all my fault. I took an innocent soul's life... I'm horrible..."
She didn't know how long she sat there, sobbing like a child.
Suddenly, someone knocked on the door. She sat up straight.
The doorbell had rung before, but she hadn't heard it—lost in her sorrow.
She got up, went to the washroom, and splashed cold water on her face.
The knock came again.
"Yes?" she called out softly.
A familiar face peeked in—and froze in shock after seeing Aisha.
"What happened, Aisha? Are you okay? You... what happened to you?"
The voice barely reached Aisha's ears.
She looked up, her tired face full of pain—then walked forward and hugged her tightly.
Startled, Saima took a step back but then placed her hand gently on Aisha's back.
"What's wrong, Aisha? Please tell me..."
"I don't know what to do, Saima... I've made a huge mistake..."
Aisha was crying like a helpless child.
Just then, Kabira's daughter walked in, holding a tray in her hands.
Saima turned her face toward her.
"Wait—where's Shanzay? Did you send her away?"
Aisha stepped back.
"No, she... Shanzay..."
She couldn't bring herself to speak.
"She doesn't recognize me anymore... I'm a stranger to her now."
"But where is she? And why doesn't she recognize you? You're hiding something from me, aren't you? We're friends, Aisha—please, tell me everything."
Aisha looked at her, and the tears finally began to fall freely.
Saima moved forward, wiped them gently, and guided her to the bed.
By the time their tea cups were empty, Aisha had told Saima everything.
"Oh... so that's what happened..."
Saima placed her cup down and looked at Aisha, who sat there weak and broken.
"What should I do, Saima? I'm scared. How will I fix all this?"
Aisha always called her "Saim" with love.
A soft smile appeared on Saima's face. She reached out and held Aisha's trembling hand.
Aisha looked at her—someone who always spoke with love and calm.
"Listen, Aisha... everything will be okay. Maybe... just maybe, something good is hiding behind all of this."
"But how can anything good come out of such a painful mess? How can you even say that, Saima?"
Aisha shifted in her seat.
"Because if you believe in Allah, everything will fall into place—soon."
Saima's eyes sparkled with hope.
"But how? Everything feels ruined..."
Aisha's voice was filled with defeat.
"Aisha, I've known you for years. You didn't do all this out of cruelty. It's your past that's haunting you. You see your lost parents in Shanzay. You see an old friend. You want to save her to save yourself. But you have to learn to forgive yourself. Don't lose hope. Allah is watching over you. Ask Him for help, and you'll witness a miracle."
Saima was speaking with heart.
And Aisha, full of pain, just stared at her.
"Allah knows what's in your heart. He will make everything right..."
Saima was now her comfort.
Aisha rested her head on Saima's shoulder.
"You always know the right words to say..."
"Everything will be alright. This is just a test. And remember—everything happens for a reason... always for the best."
This time, Saima took Aisha's shaking hands in hers.
"But what good can possibly come from this...?"
Her voice broke off.
Saima answered gently,
"Maybe now you'll treat Shanzay differently. Maybe... you'll make her your friend. That could be the start of something beautiful."
"Do you really think so? Will she ever forgive me? Will she ever call me her friend after all this?"
Aisha sounded completely broken.
"Yes, of course! Just keep praying with a sincere heart. Allah never ignores true prayers. He is full of mercy, and He loves when His people show mercy too. Keep your heart soft, and watch what happens..."
Saima's voice was full of hope.
"I want to believe... but I..."
Aisha couldn't finish her sentence.
But Saima already knew what she meant.
"I know. And Allah knows too. But don't worry. If you ask with true sincerity, He will give you everything your heart needs."
Aisha sat up straight. A single tear rested on her cheek.
She wiped it with her fingers.
"Allah really is so kind..."
"Yes, He truly is."
By now, things had calmed inside her heart. Aisha was more at peace—and Saima smiled, seeing her this way.
Suddenly, the phone rang again.
"Lawyer Akhtar Calling..."
Aisha answered and held the phone to her ear.
Saima watched her closely, holding her breath.
"Yes, yes, Mr. Akhtar... okay, got it. Thank you so much! You're on your way? Oh, great! Please come right over."
Aisha glanced at the wall clock and gave him all the details.
After the call, she turned to Saima with a glowing smile.
"Everything is falling into place, Saima. Everything is getting better... I've won!"
It was like she had received the biggest news of her life.
"Wait—what happened? What did Mr. Akhtar say?"
"He said... we've won the case! All the property is now legally ours. Congratulations!"
Saima felt like she'd misheard something.
"Wait... really?" she asked, stunned.
"Yes! He just told me a few minutes ago."
Aisha, full of joy, touched her shoulder and smiled.
