“Well, that was interesting,” Kit announced as the door slammed shut. “I guess now I can go get a drink. You two want something?” Lord, did I. “I could use a Mojito.” A lesser woman would be deterred by the string of failures I seemed destined to face. But I wasn’t going to give up.
