Hunter’s POV: I woke up in shivers in the hospital waiting room. My body feels almost as if I have been electrocuted, but I have no memory of being shocked by electricity recently. I taste blood, and as I run my tongue along the inside of my cheeks, I can feel some places that have bitten myself, along with a bunch of scar tissue, probably from me chewing on the inside of my cheeks for a long time or from being hit in the mouth a bunch of times in training. I pick up my phone from the side table and look at the time. 4:32 am. I decide to get up and go get a cup of that horrible stuff that passes as coffee in this place. As I do, Doctor Putnam comes running down the hall. “Hunter!” He practically yells as he gets closer to me. My brain is still half asleep as I rock back onto my heel
