Hunter’s POV: My father and I have sat in silence for the past hour and a half. I lean on the wall by the vending machines with my arms crossed as I stare at him. He sits with his arms folded and his eyes closed, as if he is falling asleep. I’m not sure if him being as comfortable as he is means he is thinking he got away with something, or if he genuinely did nothing wrong. He hasn’t moved much, other than the occasional adjustment in his chair, whereas I have moved all over this waiting room.
