Thea POV Roy pulls up to a cabin in the mountains. It is secluded and is actually beautiful. “You will be safe here,” Roy says to me as I exit the car.  The thought of him leaving me alone almost makes me sick to my stomach. I have wondered if a life with him was actually what I wanted, but now I know it is what I want. “I screwed up, daddy,” I say to him.  Roy grabs our bags and takes me by the arm. “Yes, you did screw up, and now we will have to figure out a way to make it right,” Roy says.  Roy leads me into the cabin. The cabin is beautifully decorated. The wooden rustic furniture is a nice touch. I go into the kitchen to see a black wood-burning stove, but I realize it is an electric stove; it only looks like the older stoves. I skim over the kitchen and its appliances.  I step o
