Chapter Ten BY TUESDAY AFTERNOON, the team had succeeded in whittling the potential suspects on the one-hundred-strong party guest list down to ten, including the security guards. Although they had, as yet, been able to find nothing connecting either guard with the dead man, neither of them could be totally exonerated. They had had the opportunity to slip inside Seward’s suite and murder him, which meant they couldn’t yet be discounted from the investigation.
