Whiskey. I washed off in the shower and then put on some clean clothes. It was still half an hour before I was supposed to meet Saxton for lunch, but I figured I’d go and meet him at the Alpha’s office early. I headed down the stairs. Saxton and I were on the second to the top floor, there were four levels, including the underground basement. It was a rather large village, sophisticated in an old-timey, rustic kind of way. It had narrow stone walkways, with large stone buildings, none of which were placed in any kind of pattern.
