ALLISON:
Acting like I hadn't seen anything–the fact that a slutty b***h was seated on Lucas’ thighs and he had his hands wrapped on her backside, making her gulp down the alcohol in his hand in a disgusting manner, I turned around and opened the door, walking out immediately.
As I stood by the door side, my left hand flew to my chest, and I exhaled a long, deep breath.
“It never mattered anyway. You expected this.” I said to myself as I tried not to think about what I had seen in there.
This wasn't the first time someone was cheating on me either, and since they were both brothers, I never expected anything more from Lucas.
After a minute of standing at the entrance, I walked away, heading back to the main floor. I was no longer thinking about the necklace but what I had seen there. As I walked, I tried so f*****g hard to control my emotions, but it was hard,
“You got my surprise gift, didn't you?” I heard Sandra's voice behind me as I got to the exit, and I turned around in her direction. She had a wicked smile plastered on her face as she held my pendant.
“Give it back, Sandra. I'm done playing stupid games with you.”
She chuckled, swinging it in her left hand,
“You want it? Then kneel down and beg for it.”
She was stronger than me, way stronger, because unlike her, I didn't have a wolf yet, so if I tried to take it back, I would be the one on the floor instead. I really needed that necklace and I wasn't going to lose it for anything.
“Wait!” She uttered as soon as I made up my mind to kneel,
“I just thought of something better.”
I watched her tilt her head to the side and nod at the bartender. Minutes later, he came with three shots,
“Take all three of them, and I'll hand it over to you.”
“Enough of your game, Sandra.”
“Who says I'm playing games with you? I want you to take the shots else you aren't getting this back.”
I heaved, staring at her while wishing I could slap that smile off her face. But, I had to be patient, really patient if I wanted things to fall into place.
I smiled, then took one of the shots without my gaze leaving her,
Gulping all three of them down my throat, I felt it burn a little but I managed to endure the sting in my throat,
“Give it.”
“Here you go.”
She didn't hand it to me, she tossed it in the midst of the crowd, and I growled at her,
“Better go get it before someone picks it up and you have to do something stupid again for it.” She murmured.
I didn't utter a word, but rushed to the crowd, searching around. This place was f*****g packed with crazy people all dancing like pornstar giving me little opportunity to be able to even locate what I was looking for,
But, something was strange. My head was starting to bang, my vision was blurry, and my body was as hot as hell. I stopped, trying to understand my surroundings as my vision blurred, and without taking a single step, I was pushed aside by somebody's body like I was nothing.
If it wasn't for the fact that this place was packed really badly, I would have landed on the floor,
Amidst this strange feeling I didn't know what it was caused by, I kept searching, not giving up.
Another hard push, and I fell, wincing silently when someone stepped on my fingers crushing them in the process.
Fuck! I hope I heal from this!
Crawling, I desperately searched like my life depended on it, and like that necklace was the only thing that mattered to me. It was the only thing I had of my real parents, and I was going to keep it safe at all costs.
Finally, after a long search, I found it by the counter, thankful that no one had stepped on it.
I picked it and rose to my feet, but felt my head pound even harder. I needed to get out of here right now. Whatever was happening to me, it had to be Sandra because it only started after I had taken those shots.
In a hurry, I rushed out of the club, staggering, while trying so f*****g hard to maintain my balance as I walked. This place was dangerous, and if the night wolves figured out that I was drugged and helpless, they'd come to take advantage of me.
As I walked, I buried my face in the ground. Everywhere kept spinning, the floor, and I could only hope that even with a bad vision, I would be far away from here soon,
“Hey, lady.” I heard a deep voice behind me call and immediately wrapped my arms around my body while hastening my step. Please, oh please let it not be me. My only wish was to get the hell out of here safely.
As I hastened my pace, I could hear their loud footsteps just behind me which meant they were getting closer,
“Boom.” One of them stood in front of me, and I screamed, staggering backward,
“You don't ignore us when we call, beautiful. That's disrespectful.” He uttered, opening his brown set of teeth as he smiled at me.
“Just leave me alone,” I murmured, trying to act tough, but one of them behind me yanked my hair, pulling me back,
“Let me go.”
The one in front of me held my wrist,
“She's unmarked which means she has no mate. Let's have some fun boys.” He said, pushing my head to the side while staring at my neck,
I wanted to scream out loud, but he covered my mouth and I began struggling. I was weak, and at this point, with how hot my body was from the drug, I knew I wouldn't be able to fight much if they wanted to have their way with me.
“H…help me.” I managed to yell as I bit his hand, and he slapped me so hard that I began to see stars.
Before he could place me on his shoulder, someone, very fast, strong, with red glowing eyes came out from the dark, and in seconds, they were all gone.
He was an Alpha.
He stepped out from the dark, his calm figure standing right in front of me, and before my weak body could fall to the ground, he caught me,
“You're okay Angel, you're okay.”
I thought that was all, but no, Lucas’ deep baritone voice snapped from behind me, and I hated that I even knew what his voice sounded like without having to see him.
“Let her f*****g go, Tristan. She's mine.”
