Don't Care

ALLISON: “Get your damn head straight Allison. None of what is going on inside of you is real. It's just the hormones… yes, the s****l hormones.” I told myself as I paced around my room, my mind taking me back to what I had seen there. After a few hours of being alone, I stood up from the bed and decided to head out of my room instead for a little fresh air. I had no idea how I would face Lucas after what happened or how I would even tell him what it was that I wanted to tell him about the rules, but still, staying here wasn't helping me forget anything either. Putting on baggy sweat pants and a black tank top, I stepped out of the room and began heading outside the building. There was no sign of Lucas anywhere and everywhere was unimaginably quiet. Once I was certain that I had looked around the big building and was tired of walking around, I decided to head back inside the house so I could take a little nap since the day was almost over. As I walked away from the beautiful garden at the back of the mansion, my phone beeped and I brought it out from my pocket. When a message from Sandra popped right on my screen, I rolled my eyes and tapped on it. My eyes widened as I stared at the photo she had sent me, and my fingers flew to my neck on instinct. My necklace wasn't on my neck and all this time, I was just realizing it. I had dropped it back at home in Sandra's possession because of the wedding. She brought in a limited edition necklace while I was getting dressed in my wedding gown and said it was a gift from Liam so I had taken off the pendant my parents left for me as a baby. I never took it off even though I had no idea that I was adopted. It had always been a special part of me while growing up, something I couldn't let go of and since I found out that the pack had found me with the pendant on my neck, I kept it as the only thing I needed to help find my real parents. “My necklace,” I murmured as I rushed back into the house, heading for the room so I could check a few of my bags. When I got into the room, it suddenly dawned on me that I hadn't taken anything from the house back here Sandra's call came in almost immediately and I answered it, “You must have gotten my message seeing you answered my call without hesitation.” “Where is it?” I interjected angrily Instead, she laughed a little, “I was going to sell it off for a cheap price, but I remembered it's something very precious to you. You always had it since you were a baby.” In the past, I hadn't figured out that the pendant was from my real parents by this time, but I always knew it was something special and always had it on my neck. “Where the hell are you Sandra?” I asked, “If you want it, then come get it. I'll text you when you can find me, Allison. You have thirty minutes.” She said and ended the call before I could respond. I exhaled to calm myself down and when I received the message from Sandra, I rushed out of the room, tucking my phone into my pocket. Heading to the location of the club didn't take me up to twenty minutes because I needed to get there in time. The loud music blared into my ears as I stood outside, staring at the entrance door and the way most of the wolves standing outside were all wasted to the core. There were a few of the ladies who were hovering around, craving to please men around with their bodies for a few changes. I felt uncomfortable, but getting what I needed was more important. I simply minded my business and headed inside the club, ignoring the lustful stares of people around me. Sandra had told me to come to a VIP ward where she would be. I had already made up my mind to give her a piece of my mind since I was done taking all of her bullshit. In the past, I did every damn thing for her, even those things I knew were impossible to do. I always went out of my way to do everything as long as she was happy. “Where's the VIP ward? Room 206. I'm here to meet the guest.” I said to a bartender who was busy pouring out drinks and he raised his gaze at me. He stared at me for what seemed to be about ten seconds before responding, “Allison?” Good, she must have told him about me then. I nodded my head, “It's the second floor. The last room by your left.” He said, I didn't bother thanking him and simply walked away, heading towards the stairs. Most of the male wolves around had even started to peel my skin with their stares, but I ignored everyone and headed for the second floor. As soon as I got there, I rapped a gentle knock on the door. It was better to cause a scene once I was inside the room with Sandra. When I didn't get any response, I held the doorknob and opened it, stepping into the room afterwards, “You bi…” My legs froze three steps away from the door, swallowing my words as I stared at the scene right in front of me. It wasn't just what was happening that made my legs unable to move, it was the fact that I had seen someone I didn't expect to see here, I took in a long deep breath, trying my best not to feel even an ounce of disappointment over what I had just seen. Maybe I had expected this, but not this soon. Sandra wasn't here either, but it was obvious she wanted me to come here and see this so I would feel this way. She knew what I hated most of all, Cheating bastards. But then, could I call this cheating? Lucas and I weren't even a real thing to begin with so he had the free will to f**k with as much b***h as he wanted. I f*****g didn't care, and I was never going to.
