Abi's POV

The bell rang and I sighed in relief, grabbing my bag as I skipped happily out of class.

I hate chemistry, I had to endure hours of torture in the name of experiments and the horrible smell of chemicals. Yuck!

"Girl you look sick." Brie exclaimed beside me.

"You know I hate chemistry."

"Yea yea, anyway I'm starving let's go to the cafeteria."

Brie said clutching her stomach.

"Yea I forgot I have a foodie for a best friend."

I chuckled lightly stuffing my books into my locker.

"I agree I love food, now come on." she said and half dragged me to the cafeteria.

We got our food and settled down at our usual table.

"Hey pretty,hey Abi."

Jake my lab partner said sitting beside Brie and dropping an arm over her shoulders.

She turned her face to him and gave him a hard glare. I chuckled.

"Hey Jake, what's up." I asked stuffing a french fry into my mouth.

"I...." He was saying when out of nowhere Jace stormed towards our table.

"Get your hands off her." He growled at Jake with a voice that I could barely recognize. I mean I have never seen Jace this angry.

"And why will I do that?" Jake retorted a smirk appearing on his face.

"For the last time Jake get your hands off her." Jace said his eyes darkening.

"I'm not gonna do that." Jake said

and leaned closer to Brie pecking her cheek. She gasped in shock.

As fast as lightening Jace pulled Jake away from Brie and landed a heavy punch on his jaw. They started exchanging blows.

Fighting like their lives depended on it.

I watched in utter shock and disbelief unable to comprehend what was going on.

Alex appeared beside Jace trying to get him off Jake who was now on the floor but he didn't even budge.

"Just stop!! Stop all this!!"

Brie exclaimed and ran out of the cafeteria.

Jace got off after that and stormed out angrily with Alex trailing behind him.

I looked around and everyone in the cafeteria looked just as shocked as I was.
