Yesterday was a whirlwind of emotions. I even said those three lovely words to Chase, and despite the intense conversation we had, the night ended blissfully. We forgot everything else that might have happened, deciding instead on a new chapter for our relationship to unfold.
A chapter void of lies, deceit, arrogance, and unnecessary dominance, among other things. Now, we just had to face the present and what the future might hold for us—a future neither of us had any clear idea of. The hatred for me in this pack was undeniable.
