Chapter Forty-Nine - Awkward
Sam POV With all that's happened today, all I want is for my sprained ankle to be fixed, go home, take a warm bath, head to bed and hibernate. I feel awfully tired. I didn't even do much today really. Except for dressing up, riding a car, and lounging at the beach. We're still in her room; she's still looking out the window, while I was left on the bed. Then the unimaginable and most embarrassing thing happened. Ggggrrrmmm..... She turned her direction at me. Oh my gosh! Did she just heard my tummy grumble?! Oh no!!! Why? Of all the days that I could embarass myself, why now? What did I do to deserve this? Why? "You hungry?" I was lost in my thoughts when I heard her ask. I avoided meeting her gaze.
