Chapter Sixty-Six - Cheer Up

1034 Words

Sam POV The evening went on after a few sing and dance presentations. There were a couple of students who approached me asking why I didn't perform tonight. Are these people not tired and fed up of me singing all the time? "What are you thinking?" Rome asked as he returned to his seat next to me. "Nothing really. I'm just glad I didn't have to perform tonight. It's getting really old." I pursed my lips. a"Are you kidding me? It's always exciting to watch you sing up on the stage." He turned to me and held my hand. "Trust me, it never gets old to me." I blushed, for sure. "You're just saying that to make me feel better." "I'm saying it because that's what I really feel." Gosh, this boy sure knows how to make someone blush. "Quit kidding, Rome." I lightly punched him on his shoulder.
