Chapter 5

"You what are you doing here?" he asks me.

"Of course, I sit n the car," sarcastically said to him. I just saw him laugh. He didn't answer my question so I couldn't help but think. I just noticed that her dimple was purely visible.

"You think, your dimple is handsome." I scolded him.

"I've known for a long time that I'm handsome. Thank you! But you're not beautiful," he said while laughing.

In annoyance, I slapped him on the arm. "Thank you, handsome," I whispered to myself.

"I know I'm handsome. Don't whisper there."

Shock! How did he hear me? His face is very thick. He was too windy," I said to my brain. Still quiet inside the car the trip was quite long due to traffic. Sometimes Andrei sees me looking at him and then he just smiles. Due to the long duration of the trip, I did not realize that I had fallen asleep.

I woke up because of the noise I heard. I even rubbed my eyes. When I opened it, I saw that the car door was open and Andrei was just smiling.

"Thank you for being awake. I've been hungry before!" While holding his stomach.

"Why does it seem like my fault?" I just saw him laugh. It turned so I got off and followed behind him. I saw him enter a fast food and sit at a table that had already been reserved. He just sat there while I also sat next to him. He ordered so I grabbed it and then I burped.

"You're full."

"I'm not full. You've already heard me burp. Why you asked me?" I'm going to scold him.

As we spend time together he also becomes handsome in my eyes. After we ate, he took me home at about five o'clock in the afternoon when I got home. When I got off, he pulled up his car while I went inside. I rang the doorbell at the gate so Manang quickly asked me to open it.

"Thank you for coming home. Where did you sleep last night? Do you know that you reminded me that you are young? Don't do that again, daughter."

"You'll miss me," I said to Manang and she was so smiling.

Manang makes me a child, even though I'm close to twenty-three years of age. "I'm about to get married soon," I whispered to myself.

" Daughter, Atty. Matt came here. He told me to call him as soon as you arrive."

I just nodded to Manang. "What would atty say," I asked myself. I quickly picked up the phone and dialed the Atty's number.

"Hello, Nikki, you need to go to your company because it was in your daddy's last will that you become CEO when you are twenty-three."

"But what if I don't want to?"

"You can't because your dad's hard work might just come to nothing."

"Please, give me time to think," I told Atty and finally turned off the call.

Why as time goes on things become increasingly complicated. I just want a simple life. I can go to sleep at any time and when I wake up I have nothing else to think about.

If only daddy hadn't been picked up earlier, I wouldn't have had a hard time thinking now. I know I have the responsibility to do some other things but not in the company. Over my dead body, I don't want to work in our company.

It was already eight o'clock in the evening and I took too long to reflect. I need to go to the bedroom for beauty rest. I was just sitting on my mattress when I heard my phone ring. I saw an unknown number. So I answered it quickly.

"Yes hello?"

"Hello, I called again. He didn't speak so I killed him immediately. Someone is trying to call me." I whispered to myself.

I just sat on the bed as my mind traveled. A lot of things come to my mind but I have nothing to solve. I am so tired today. It's up to tomorrow to think about my problem. I did not realize that I was drowsy.

I woke up to a loud knock on the door. s**t! I couldn’t help but be cheap because of the noise I was hearing. As soon as I opened it, I saw Chloe's face with both hands clasped.

"Do you know that I've been knocking for a while, I just need to break down your door," She insults me.

"Why are you here? I can still sleep." I was back in bed when he pulled my hair.

"Who said you can turn your back on me?" She just combed my hair and then sat on the bed.

"Ouch, It hurts," I said. I was struck in the head by the memory that I had a photo shoot today. I took a quick shower while Chloe took care of what I was going to wear. She is always with me at events. She is also my standing assistant.

I love her as my sister, speaking of a sister because she has been missing for a long time so I don't know where she is. I tried to look a few times but I never really found it. I don’t even know what she looks like anymore.

Tok tok tok "Are you gonna take long? What time might you be late? Nikki hurry up!" Chloe said with a cool voice.

I hurried to take a bath and put on the blue dress with a cut on the thigh I dyed with black sandals with heels. Maybe they think I didn't change hehe because the design of my dress is the same but the color is different.

After I got dressed, I put on pink lipstick on my lips and a medium color on my two cheeks.

" I'm so beautiful," I whisper to myself.

"Let's go."

We also went down quickly and I kissed Manang and she seemed to like what I was wearing because my snout was no longer red.

"Be careful daughter." I just nodded to Manang and got into the car.
