Perrie's POV
I was awakened by that sweet vanilla scent, the sound of Jade's singing in the shower, and steam coming from the bathroom door. I remembered she had to work this morning, but I immediately missed her warmth next to me.
I rolled over, looking at the clock on her nightstand and groaned.
Ughhh 6am? How on earth did she have this much energy, it had to be at least 3 when we went to bed.
Her bed was so cozy, I couldn't imagine leaving it. Eyes still closed, I scrunched my face up, kicked my feet, and groaned again. I hadn't even noticed that the singing had stopped and the shower was no longer running.
"Wow, was that a tantrum I just witnessed?" I heard her laugh from near the bathroom door.
She was feeding my senses so much at the moment, as I imagined her standing there in nothing but a towel with water dripping down her body. I cracked one eye open to take a peek at her and noticed she was still smiling. And just as I imagined, standing there dripping wet in a towel.
God, this woman had no idea what she did to me. Or did she?
"It's soooo early." I groaned again.
"Ohh, nice sleepy voice. It makes me want to get back in bed with you." She winked and started walking towards the bed.
Great. I'm really trying not to stare at her wet, hot body right now.
She sat on the edge of the bed, right on the side I was facing while I was laying on my side. I kept my eyes closed for as long as I could, but I started to feel the heat radiating from her body and her scent was making me dizzy.
I peeked my eye open again and saw that she had dropped her towel. She was still sitting, but putting lotion on her legs by the looks of it, and I was face to face with the tattoo crawling down her spine. Again. My weakness.
Looking at her skin made my mouth water and my breathing become erratic. I wanted to reach out and run my fingers across her tattoo, or better yet my mouth.
"Hey, you still awake?" Her question startled me and I quickly shut my eyes before I felt her shift on the bed to check and see.
I groaned again, this time partly for dramatic effect and partly out of frustration. "I guess so..."
"Would you mind getting my back for me again?" She asked.
Could I use my mouth instead of my hands? Stop it Perrie! Hell no I wouldn't mind. She was asking me to touch her. Her skin. Her tattoo. Again.
I tried not to sound as eager as I actually was. "No, I don't mind."
I sat up on my knees behind her, taking the lotion from her, briefly wondering how she put lotion on her back every other day, and if this was just a ploy to get my hands on her body. I really hoped it was.
I rubbed some on my hands and then onto her back. Her skin was so soft and hot I almost moaned from just touching her. I started from the top and worked my way down.
This time I went a bit slower because I wanted to savor the sensation. She didn't complain though, she just lowered her head and pulled her hair to the side. I ran my hand across her spine a couple of times to feel her tattoo, not that it felt any different than the rest of her skin.
When I got down to her lower back and noticed how it curved, I almost lost it. She was so freaking sexy. And there her neck was, exposed. It felt too much like an invitation to kiss it.
In the end, I ended up giving her more of a massage than just simply moisturizing her back, but like I said, she said nothing. Maybe she was enjoying it as much as I was.
Her eyes were closed and I heard a quiet and throaty moan from her. It quickly started to be too much for me. My desire started to build up in my chest and between my thighs and threatened to overflow. When I heard that one delicious moan, I wanted more.
"All done." I said, quickly handing her the lotion back and hiding back under the covers.
"Thanks, love. That felt great." If only she knew how good I was really willing to make her feel.
"No problem." I smiled and laid back down. "I should probably get up, not lay back down."
"Why?" She asked.
I opened my eyes to look at her, and I shouldn't have. I realllyyyy shouldn't have. She had already pulled her black lace panties up and was now fastening her bra. The way the fabric laid against her skin was beautiful, and I couldn't help but feel like she wanted me to look.
Goddamn.
My eyes crawled up her body and this time I know it took them a noticeably long time to meet hers.
What I would give for the opportunity to take a bite out of her.
"Cause you gotta go." I replied.
I'm pretty sure my cheeks were red again. Again, I got caught staring at her body.
She was now pulling her jeans on, and when I say pulling... I mean pulling. Her thighs, hips, and ass made it less than a smooth task. Again, I couldn't help but stare at the action. This time I didn't care if she saw.
When she finally got them on and buttoned, she slipped a belt through the loops and tightened it. She said something, but I couldn't hear anything over the sound of my entire body throbbing for her. Especially between my thighs. I quickly squeezed them together under the covers and crossed them.
"Sorry, did you say something?" I asked, still staring at her thighs in those jeans and seriously fighting the urge to lick my lips. My eyes finally met hers.
I saw her looking at my clamped thighs through the covers and I wondered if she knew what I was doing. She smirked. That damn smirk. Damn, she caught me again.
"I said, that doesn't mean that you have to go. You can sleep in as long as you want. I'm not the type to sleep with you and then kick you out in the morning." She winked, buttoning her white shirt and tucking it in her jeans, leaving the top two buttons undone and me too with her slick comment.
I really didn't want to get up yet. "Are you sure? I don't want to overstay my welcome."
She walked back over to me after she was fully dressed and tucked a piece of hair behind my ear before softly caressing my cheek. My eyes fluttered sleepily. She slowly placed yet another kiss on my cheek with her soft lips, rather close to my lips this time, might I add. And it lingered a bit longer. I had to fight not to quickly turn my head and 'accidentally' capture her lips in mine.
"Sleep love, I'll call you later." She said, softly.
And with that, she walked out of the bedroom and shut the door behind her, once again leaving me dazed and confused.

I rolled over and yawned. Stretching, I glanced over at the clock through one eye. 10:48am. I sat up on the side of the bed and yawned again, looking around and admiring everything.
Jade kept her apartment neat. Everything was very organized, and nothing was out of place. I quickly noticed that it was also very feminine. The walls were white and decorated with gold frames that had cute motivational quotes inside.
Among the gold frames there were black frames that held shades of pink abstract art. I'm assuming it was hers, and it was very beautiful. She had a white vanity next to her white dresser that I immediately recognized from Ikea.
All of her accent pieces were gold and pink and her shelves were trimmed in gold. There was hardwood flooring all throughout the apartment, but there was a fuzzy white rug in front of the vanity that matched the fuzzy white bench on top of it.
It felt weird being in her apartment without her here, but it also felt homey. I decided to get up and make myself some breakfast.
As I was sitting at the island eating, my phone rang. I looked at the caller ID hoping it was Jade, but it wasn't. I didn't realize I had been anxiously waiting for her call all morning.
"Hi mom." I answered.
"Perrie, dear, how are you? Where are you? Are you alright?" She asked.
I could hear the panic in her voice. "I'm fine mom, I've just been staying with a friend for a few days. No need to worry. How are you?"
"I'm okay, I just really miss my daughter. Also, who is this friend?" She asked.
I smiled. I really missed her too. "I miss you too mom, maybe you two could meet one day. What are you up to right now? Wanna get coffee?"
"Oh! Yes, I would love that! I'll go get dressed now!" I could hear the excitement in her voice and it made me smile.
"Okay, I'll be over in a bit mom. I love you." I said.
"I love you too, dear." She hung up.
Just as I went to get up, my phone rang again. This time my heart accelerated at the sight of Jade's name.
"Helloooo." I sang into the phone.
"Someone's chipper. You must've had breakfast." She chuckled.
"I did, and it was great. Though I could've used one of Jade's famous pancakes." I shrugged, playing with a loose thread on my shirt.
"Awww next time, love. Did you sleep alright?" She asked.
Would've been better with you here.
"I slept okay." I replied.
"Just okay? You missed me, huh?" She giggled and I blushed.
"How's work?" I asked, quickly changing the subject.
"Surprisingly not busy at all. I'd still rather be there though." She replied and it made my heart skip a beat.
I didn't know if she meant with me, or just at home. Either way it made me smile. "It's okay, it's almost over."
"What are you up to today?" She asked.
I don't know if I've ever mentioned it, but her voice over the phone was sexy as hell. I could talk to her for hours. And I imagined how erotic it would be during phone s*x.
Honestly, Perrie...
"Nothin much, gonna take my mom out for coffee in a bit. She misses me, since someone has been holding her daughter hostage." Of course I was joking. There was literally no where else I would rather be.
She giggled. "I suppose you're right, but it's only a hostage situation if it's against your will. Am I holding you against your will, ocean eyes?"
There was a playfulness in her tone. "I suppose not." I replied with a laugh.
"That being said, will you be hanging around for dinner?" She asked.
I would stay here as long as she wanted me to be here.
"For sure. I've grown quite accustomed to watching you scarf down your food like Cookie Monster. I don't know if I could enjoy my meal with a normal person now." I teased.
"Ouch!" She laughed. "Also, I do not! Take that back!"
"Do too!"
"Do not!"
I rolled my eyes playfully. "We'll see, Cookie Monster."
"You're gonna pay for that, Perrie." She said.
"Ohhhhh." I teased again. "Are you threatening me? I'm so scared."
"Oh, you better be!" She replied.
"So what's for dinner?" I asked.
"What do you want?" She countered.
You.
I tapped my hand on my chin as if I was really thinking. "Hmmm... let me just pull out this scroll of things Jade can cook. Let's see here.... pancakes, no not for dinner. Ummm, pancakes... still no. Pancakes again... well maybe-"
"You are just full of jokes today aren't you?" She laughed, cutting me off. "I'll have you know that I can cook more than just pancakes, blondie!"
"Uh huh." I nodded. "I'm sure you can, love. You can do anything you put your mind to."
"That's it, you don't get any dinner tonight." She said.
"Wait, I'm joking!" Also that sounded oddly s****l, making me blush a little.
"Nah, love. You don't get any food. You'll just have to catch the crumbs that fly everywhere when I'm eating like Cookie Monster." She said.
I was laughing so hard now I had tears streaming down. "Okay okay. I'm sorry. You can cook, Jadey!"
We talked about everything and nothing at all for about 30 more minutes while I got dressed, before she had to go and I remembered I had to go pick up my mom.
"Okay I gotta go, love. Break's over. See you tonight?" She asked.
I could hear the hope in her voice and it made my heart flutter. It also made me wonder if she had any feelings for me.
"You bet." I replied before hanging up and grabbing my keys.

After my brunch date with my mom, I dropped her off back at home. I went inside to pack a few more clothes since I hadn't really left Jade's apartment and ended up spending hours just watching movies, laughing and catching up with her. As I was on my way to leave, Jimmy came storming in.
Great.
He looked at me as if he wanted to punch me in the face right then and there, but thought better of it because his dad was in the same room.
"Where are you going, Jimmy?" His father asked sternly.
He looked down at the bag in my hand and then back to me, clenching his fists.
"I asked you a question, boy!" His dad got a little louder this time.
"To a friend's house." He replied.
I don't know why but my heart was pounding right now. It wasn't that I was afraid of him, I was afraid for Jade and Jaden. What kind of monster takes someone's child away, and then uses him to keep her in his life? That's sick and twisted. This time it was my fists that were balled up. I quickly made my way out of the front door and into my car before I made things worse for Jade.
It wasn't dark out yet, so as I tossed my bag in the backseat I got an idea. I was going to follow him. Surely he wasn't that sneaky, and would lead us right to Jaden.
I turned the lights off on my car and pulled up to the corner to stay out of sight. I thought about Jade and the risk I was taking as I waited for him to get into his car. Thankfully he came out quickly and drove out of the driveway. I waited until he was way down the street before I pulled out and followed, making sure to keep a few cars distance between us.
We drove for about 15 minutes before he pulled into another driveway. I put my car in park a little ways down the street. When he got out, he tossed a blue backpack that I had never seen before over his shoulder. I sat up in my seat to try and memorize the house he was going into. As soon as I sat up, my phone rang, scaring the s**t out of me and making me bump into the horn.
He turned around quickly and looked in my direction. Oh s**t. I ducked in my seat as quickly as I could, silencing the call. Thank god I was far away and my lights were off. There's no way he could see me. Right? I slid up a bit to take a peek and noticed he was still looking around. He had to be hiding something here.
He turned and walked up the steps, causing the porch light to come on. He looked around one more time before pulling out a key and walking through the front door. I decided to stay low for a while in case he was looking out the window. I picked up my phone and saw the call was from Jade. Before I could hit the button to call back, my phone pinged with a text.
Jade: Hey, you still coming? I'm starved
Me: Yeah sorry I was driving... otw now. Did you cook?
Jade: You don't deserve my cooking. I'm ordering pizza
Me: Ow my heart
Jade: Lol! I'm exhausted. No cooking for me. Now if you wanted to whip something up I wouldn't be opposed.
Me: Well would you look at the time.. I have to go finish folding the dishes! ♀️
Jade: I hate you!
Me: Be there soon
Jade: K! ❤️
When I put the phone down and went to sit up, I noticed a figure standing by my window. I was scared stiff for moment. Too scared to even look in his face.
He knocked lightly on my window. "Ma'am? Do you have any spare change?"
I looked up at him and noticed it wasn't Jimmy. It was a man who looked to be homeless. I cracked my window a little bit and slid the ten dollars I had in my pocket out to him.
"Thank you so much!" He took the money and ran away, and I started my car and pulled out, driving slowly by the house in order to see the numbers. 4829. I quickly jotted it down and put it in my pocket before speeding out of there.
