Chapter 30
"Are you crazy? She has done nothing wrong!" yelled Grandpa while putting his arm between Josh and me. Josh looked at us angrily for a few moments before turning his attention back at me. I watched him with wide eyes while listening carefully to his angry voice. "Just wait here. I'll come back for you. You just wait for me." snarled Josh before slamming the door shut. Everyone was silent for a little bit, looking at each other uncertainly. Suddenly, I remembered what Josh told me the other night after I fell asleep. "He knows, huh?" whispered Emma to me in a low tone. I just shook my head silently. Emma stared hard at me, clearly unsure of what to think. Before anyone else can say anything, we heard a loud scream from inside the house. "Grandma, you need to stop! Stop!! No!!!!" I exc
