14. Dangerous Innocence

1537 Words
The next morning Damian decided that today he would take Leah to the hospital for her check-up. He called one of the maids and told her to go wake Leah up and help her get ready. He also told the maid to bring her downstairs for breakfast once she was done. As everything was getting prepared, Damian’s phone suddenly rang. It was Chris. He picked it up and answered in a calm voice. "Yeah?" "We've captured Ander, Bosd," Chris said from the other side. "We’re bringing him to Spain today." "Good job," Damian said coldly, a satisfied smirk forming on his lips. .After the call ended, he stared down at his phone in silence for a while, his expression slowly turning darker. He was beyond ready to finish this. He was going to end both Ander and Miguel. He wanted the whole Paredes bloodline gone. Forever. So no one would be left between him and Leah. She would be his. Only his. After a while, Damian placed the phone down and headed downstairs. As he stepped into the dining room, his eyes immediately went to the table and there she was. Leah. She was already sitting there quietly, with her hands placed neatly on her lap as the maids served food around her. She hadn’t noticed him yet. Damian stopped at the entrance and just stared at her for a moment. She looked too beautiful. She was wearing a simple white mid-length dress. It looked soft and light on her body. Her milky brown hair was messily braided to the side, some loose strands falling around her face. There was something innocent about how she looked today. She looked way too adorable. So soft and gentle. Damian took a slow breath and then walked in. "Good morning, Leah…" he greeted softly as he came near the table. Leah turned her head quickly and looked up at him, her eyes wide in surprise. "Good morning," she said quietly, and immediately started to get up, not expecting him to be there. "It’s fine, Leah… Please sit comfortably and have your breakfast," Damian said gently, pulling out the head chair and sitting down. Leah nodded a little and sat back down in the same seat she was sitting before which was two chairs away from Damian’s left. Damian glanced at the space between them. Honestly, he wanted to sit closer to her. He wanted to see her up close and maybe even speak softly to her. But he didn’t move. He didn’t want to seem clingy or desperate. He already scared her enough before. So he stayed where he was. But even from this seat… he could still see her perfectly. He looked at her face again as she picked up her fork and slowly started eating. Damian finally looked back down at his own plate and picked up a slice of toasted bread. He took a bite. Just as he was chewing, a soft, sweet moan filled the air. "Mmm…" Damian nearly choked on his food and quickly looked up at her direction. His eyes widened. Leah had her eyes closed, clearly savoring the bite of food in her mouth. She looked like she was in some kind of heaven. Her lips were slightly parted as she chewed slowly. She picked up another piece of pancake that had honey dripping off the edge and took a bite. "Mmm…" She moaned again. Unintentionally tempting. "f**k…" Damian cursed under his breath. He had been with countless women, but he had never heard moans as sweet and seductive as hers. Leah kept taking small bites of her pancakes, her eyes half-closed as she slowly chewed and moaned softly with every bite. She didn’t even seem to realize she was doing it. Her voice was light, sweet, and every sound made Damian’s jaw clench harder. He gripped the fork tightly in his left hand, his knuckles slightly turning white. His eyes were locked on her face, not missing a single movement. She looked so innocent. So lost in the taste of her food. "Woah… it was so yummy…" Leah said softly as she finally finished the last piece of pancake on her plate. ) Damian knew she wasn’t doing it on purpose. The soft moans, the dreamy look, the way she moved her lips while chewing… it was all innocent. She didn’t even know what kind of effect she was having on him. She was just enjoying her food like a normal girl. But to him, it felt like she was slowly pulling him into some kind of sweet torture. He leaned a bit forward, still staring at her. "Did you enjoy it that much… that you had to moan like this?" he asked huskily, wanting to know if she even realized what she had been doing. Leah’s eyes widened and she blinked a few times. Her face turned red immediately. "Really… Di—Did I moan?" she asked in a small voice, her whole face looking shocked. She quickly looked down, not able to meet his eyes anymore. "I’m really sorry," she then said quietly, almost like a whisper. Leah stayed still for a second, expecting Damian to say something back. But he didn’t. Instead, she still felt his intense stare on her. It made her nervous. Her heartbeat started to get faster. Trying to focus on something else, Leah slowly looked at the fruit salad in front of her. She spotted her favorite raspberry sitting on top. She quietly stabbed it with her fork and lifted it toward her mouth. She brought it close to her lips and gently squeezed it inside her mouth. As she chewed it slowly, the soft, juicy texture burst a little, and some of the bright red juice slid down from the corner of her lips. Without even realizing, her tongue came out and licked the juice away from the corner of her mouth. She kept chewing the raspberry while looking down at her plate. Damian’s mouth watered at the mere sight of her eating so deliciously. He couldn’t help but imagine how it would feel if those plump, rosy lips wrapped around his c**k while her tongue teasing the tip just like she licked the corner of her mouth. "Damn it..." He cursed under his breath again. This small, fragile woman was more than he had imagined. Innocent, yet lethal. If he kept staring at her like this, he would undoubtedly end up f*****g her right on this very table. Damian quickly forced his eyes back down to his plate and shoved the rest of his toasted bread into his mouth without even chewing it properly. He didn’t dare glance at Leah again. He chewed fast, and swallowed hard. He just wanted to finish and get out of this weird, uncomfortable moment. Without looking her way even once more, he finished up the rest of his breakfast as fast as he could. He picked up his napkin and wiped his lips slowly, trying to calm himself down a little. But just as he placed the napkin back on the table, he noticed Leah was staring at him. His brows pulled together as he looked at her. "What?" he asked coldly, his voice sharp as he stared back at her. Leah flinched slightly and quickly looked down at her plate again, pretending to focus on her food. She picked up her fork and began eating again like nothing happened. Damian narrowed his eyes and felt irritation rise in his chest. "I asked you something, Leah," he snapped, his tone slightly louder this time. "What exactly were you staring at?" Even though he knew deep down that he had been doing the exact same thing earlier, he still couldn’t stop himself from questioning her. Leah’s lips quivered a little. She clutched her fork tighter and gulped hard before mumbling under her breath, "You were eating too fast… It isn’t good, you know." Damian stared at her for a few seconds. He then leaned back slightly in his chair and gave a small nod. "You’re right," he said in a flat voice. 'But I don’t have all day to waste my time on eating when I have other things to deal with too." That wasn’t exactly the full truth though. If he could, he probably would’ve spent the entire day right beside her. Just watching her eat. "Oh…" Leah said quietly, nodding her head like she believed what he said. "Yeah… You also better finish your eating," Damian added coldly. "We have to leave for the hospital after breakfast." Leah nodded again and picked up her fork, trying to finish the rest of her food quickly. But in the middle of chewing, she suddenly started coughing. Her hand flew up to her mouth as she struggled to swallow properly. Damian let out a long sigh and pushed a glass of apple juice toward her. Leah quickly grabbed it and took a big sip. "You’re not a fast eater, are you…?" Damian scoffed under his breath. "Take your time, Leah… I’ll wait." Right then, one of the maids walked in to check if they needed anything else, but as soon as she heard her master’s words, she gasped loudly.
