The clubhouse was packed.

Kids.

Doom's family.
Apparently finding out the sexes of three unborn Devil's Guardians required nearly the entire damn club.
To be honest I loved it too. The family together like this.
I stood outside with one hand resting over my stomach.
Watching everyone gather around the three targets the women had set up.
Each had a black balloon attached to it.
Inside each balloon was either pink or blue paint.
And Doom?
My husband got to throw axes at them.
Because apparently a normal gender reveal wasn't nearly violent enough for the president of the Devil's Guardians.
“You sure giving him axes was a good idea?” I asked Valerie.
She laughed.
“He was going to insist on something ridiculous anyway.”
“True.”
