"It takes a moment to fall in love with someone, but a forever to realize it"
Sometimes, your friends play the cupid.
Sometimes, destiny does.
However, time and separation, would have to take the charge
, when the other two have already played their part but the two innocent souls are yet far away from realization.

"Chai garam .....garam chai..."

"Dilli jaane waale gaadi, platform no.1 par, aane waali hai"
Among the hustle - bustle at the railway station, a mini volcano can be spotted muttering a few curses for whom she has been waiting since last 40 minutes.
"I swear on Ganpati Bappa. I am not gonna leave this boy, once he comes under my clutches". She said huffing and marching from one side to another.
"We are meeting after 6 months, and it was his plan to meet and look at this i***t monkey, he is himself taking a forever to appear". She said and pouted looking at the faces around her, who were giving her wierd glances.
Tired of being marching, the girl decided to sit on the bench lying beside her.
"Jigraa, aaja na yrr", she sighed, closing her eyes and plugging earphones, listening to music.
A few more minutes passed with no sign of "Jigra". Being irriated to the core, she plugged earphones out of her ears and stood up with a jerk and
walked a little a towards the way to exit. "That's it, I am not gonna wait for that jerk anymore"
"Jaan-e-mann". A voice fell into her ear and she was about to turn but someone squeezed her into a hug from the back.
She knew who it was. Same touch, which used to calm the hell out of her. Same voice, which used to irritate her to the core along with bringing peace to her soul. And that pharse, "Jaan-e-mann"
She was aware of the stares, they were getting but "who cares". It was after long freaking six months, that she was back to the place, she belongs.
His embrace, her home!
"Still, pissed?". He asked turning her towards himself and looking straight into her honey brown orbs. He knew that it all takes a bear hug to calm the volcano inside 'His' mini monster.
"His?". Well, not yet. He chuckled at his thought.
Coming out of her trance, she pushed him away from her and yelled on him.
"Stay away from me, you moron!"
"Why? You can't control when I am around? Is it?". He said smirking at the little girl who was looking just like a doll . Annabella, to be precise!
"Don't!", she caught him by his collar and jerked him towards herself .
"Arey..Riya...Calm down..I was just kidding..like old days", he said coming out of her grip.
"But, you kept me stood up for an hour. Why are you late?", she said whinning like a child. She pouted, folding her arms over her chest and looking away from him. He went all awe on her anctics.
"Sorry Jaan-e-mann". He said touching his ear with a small pout. And just like that, how could Riya not get melted with this sweet gesture from her Jigra?
"It's okay, but why did you choose this place to meet?", she said pulling his hands down and holding them in hers
He smiled at her gesture and said, "Raj ko uski Simran yahi mili thi, humesha ke liye".
He knew her obsession with DDLJ and how she used to do that "Palat, palat, palat" with every crush of her, hoping she would find her Raj.
May be, her Raj was always beside her. And neither she nor her Raj were aware of it.
"Ha ha ha...very funny.", she said with a fake laughter and punching his arms lightly. "I know, Raj and Simran, are not a real thing. It was just a movie and I have accepted it". She said and her voice was only speaking of her lost hope at finding her Raj.
"Okay, we shall talk about it on the way. Now, let's move". He said diverting the topic. He knew how important it was for her, to find her story, to live her dream with her 'Raj'.
Though sometimes he used to laugh at her silly attempts of initiating the conversation with her crushes, but it was him only who tried hard to break the relationship of her first love so that, she can have a chance.
They both were alike, or to put it correctly, they both were stupid.
Well, bestfriends goals! Isn't it?

The End

It feels different to meet yours friends after college. College days are nothing less than a picnic every day at the same place.
The place where you had your first heart break, the place where you tasted love on your lips for the first time, the place where you met people who would be at your door step at 3 in the morning.
