Rita's parents came in to sing Happy Birthday to Rita when Rita screamed. "Rita! It's just a bad dream." "Yeah." "Happy Birthday! You're now eighteen. Do you want do anything special?" "No not really. I'll be late if I don't hurry." "Where are you going on a Saturday?" "Al's Arena. He's having a special sale and now that I'm eighteen I don't need be in that club although it is nice and have good deals to members. Anyway see ya later." "Be careful!" "She'll be fine." Rita got to the arena before it opened so she sat waiting for the doors to open. "Hey Rita." "Wade." "You're here for the sale?" "Yeah. Listen Wade I don't feel like arguing, Today's my birthday and I don't feel up to it." "Happy birthday then and I just want to say I'm sorry we got off on the wrong foot. Lets just start over, can we?" Rita only nodded. "Hey I want take you to this place, it overlooks the town." "Cool lets go." "Now?" "Well no maybe after the sale, I want some new arrows or maybe a new bow." "Okay."

After the sale Wade showed Rita the tree where they sat and chatted, "you climb this often?" "Yeah. Just wait it's worth it. Funny." "What's funny?" "Nothing. Sorry I need to go." When Rita and Wade reached the ground Ashton ran up in his spirit form which Rita saw, but thought she was hallucinating again. "Wade it's a cyclop I need help." Wade jumped out of his body that's when the cyclop appeared, a few minutes of fighting and Ashton was against a tree. Rita started remembering, Arlene appeared to see Rita sitting with her head in her hands. "What's wrong with Rita?" Forgetting about the cyclop Wade looked toward Rita, Wade was thrown at a tree. Rita stood up and started walking toward home. "Must be a headache or something." They stopped talking and tried to focus on the cyclop. They'll be fine. Their mom is there. "Mom are you ok?" Rita couldn't take it anymore, she popped out of her body and made a shield around Wade, Ashton, and their mom. "What the?" "Tallulah when I'm done you and I need to talk." Astonished they just stared at the spirit fighter they remembered. In seconds she brought the old fighting back and beat the cyclop in no time. Rita brought down the shield and looked at them. "You remember?" "Well it wasn't just remembering. For days I thought I was imagining things like trolls, but when I saw Ashton get hit and thrown to a tree that's when I remembered. Sorry I didn't help till.." "Well you got one interesting birthday present didn't you?" "Yeah. Tallulah!" Rita running to hug her old friend and spirit instructor, "Rita I've missed you." "Yeah. Wade I can't wait to continue our talks like we used to. I remember everything even our fights. Come lets go celebrate guys." "You sure? I mean I know your family must have something special." "They won't mind if I bring friends over." "Friends?" "Yeah. Sure we argue a little, but that happens with friends sometimes. Now come on." "You all got go without me, I need go talk to the spirit council. Don't worry I'll be there as soon as possible." "Tallulah can't it wait for later?" "No, I need talk to them now. I won't be long." "Alright."

Everyone got their bodies and left for Rita's house, "mom dad I'm home and I brought some old friends with me." Rita's parents appeared to see Rita's friends. "This is Wade, Ashton, and their mother Arlene." "We've met Arlene before haven't we dear." "Indeed." "Uh need help in the kitchen Mrs.Carcello?" "Yes of course." Rita's parents went in the kitchen followed by Arlene while Rita, Ashton, and Wade went to the game room. Arlene explained to Rita's parents the new development. "Is dinner ready?" "Not quite. Wade Ashton we need talk to our daughter, can you give us a moment?" "Of course. Mrs.Carcello." The boys left while Rita's parents explained some things, "you mean you knew Mrs.Johnson from healing me, you saw me train with my spirit instructor, and talk to her? Why didn't you tell me any of this or that you are or was spirit fighters?" "We didn't want to interrupt your training or distract you. Now that you remember please be very careful for your not an adult yet and don't have a spirit protector" "Spirit protector?" "An animal to protect you no matter what. You only get one when you've reached twenty one." "Oh." "Actually no, I've convinced the spirit council to give you a spirit protector now." Siad Tallulah as she came forward with an egg. "A egg?" "Yes your animal or known as protector will hatch from this egg that will also represent you. I don't know when it will hatch, it varies. Some hatch several days later or even a week later, but the important thing is you'll have a protector. If you transfer your energy again nothing will happen, it will come back later or the next day because you have a protector." "I see. Thanks Tallulah and thank the council too for me." Tallulah only nodded. Rita took the egg inside, when Arlene gasp for its rare for someone under twenty one to receive an egg from the spirit council. Birthday festivities continued until everyone noticed it was getting dark out. The johnsons left and Rita was preparing for bed, what a wonderful birthday I had.
