Rita woke early from a dog getting up on her. "Now where did you come from little guy?" "I came from the egg." "You, you." "Yes I'm talking, I'm your spirit protector." "A dog?" "Yes right now I'm a dog, but I can change to whatever." "A kitten, snake, and or fairy?" "Yes to all and even more." "Cool. Can others see you?" "Only other spirit fighters and spirit instructors." "So you can even go to school or a*****e with me?" "Yes." "What do you eat or drink?" "Sometimes nothing and or the enemies energy, well what's left of it." "Ahh I'm going to be late for school. Say what's your name?" "You name me, I'm a girl." "Oh, Zoey. Is that alright?" "Yes, I like it." "Mom I'm leaving." "You're a bit late getting out." "Sorry I was talking to my spirit protector, Zoey." "The egg hatched already? It hasn't even been a day.. a dog?" "Yes. For right now I'm a dog, but I can change too." "Sorry we got go mom talk to you and dad later." School was like any other day accept Wade and Rita hanged out when possible.

"Yes school is out for the weekend. I'll meet ya at the tree or Al's Arena?" "Wait! Where are you going?" "Got do something." "Oh; the tree." "Bye, see ya when I get there." "Kay." "Zoey! We're friends." "Yeah, well your feelings say different.. since I'm your protector I can feel nearly everything you feel." "Oh." Once Rita and Zoey reached the tree Rita asked "why don't you show me some of the things you can transform into?" "Okay." It wasn't until maybe the fourth transformation that a giant and two trolls appeared. Zoey turned into a dragon ready to protect and eat little energy from the giant. Wade was heading to the tree, but still some ways to go when he saw a dragon appeared he started rushing hoping it wasn't at the tree. Rita started fighting and Zoey shielded her when one of the monsters tried to hit or smash her. Wade finally arrived to see that there was a giant, two trolls, and a dragon. "I'm here Rita." Wade got the leftover troll in no time, "good job. If you weren't here I be exhausted by the time you arrived." "No problem. Why don't we focus more on the dragon then-" "No! The dragon is Zoey my spirit protector. I'll explain after we beat this stubborn giant." "Fine." Some minutes later the giant disappeared, Wade and Rita sat down as Zoey transformed back into a dog. "Hm where's Tallulah?" "She had to go somewhere when the fight started." "Oh."

Rita started explaining about the egg and spirit protector. "I see, well now I won't need to worry about you getting hurt now. I mean cool." "Is there something your not saying?" "Like what?" "Nothing, oh and you know I am capable to fight so no need to say that." "I know, it just.." "Just what?" Wade looked away and mumbled something, "what?" I couldn't hear you." Wade turned around and simply said "I like you a lot." Wade's face was turning a pinkish red color, Rita only smiled and chuckled a bit. "You think it's funny. I knew I shouldn't of said anything.." Rita placed her forefinger on his lips to quiet him, "I like you too." If Wade wasn't red he is now from his face to his ears, though the happiness didn't last long "Tallulah where, uh?" "Rita this is the spirit council, they wish to talk to you and Zoey." "Of course." Wade just sat there for they didn't say anything. The council left, leaving Rita a tad speechless; "Rita." In a hush tone Rita told Zoey and Tallulah "don't say anything to anyone." "Wade?" "Yes." "Are you alright?" " I'm fine." "Who were they?" "Didn't you hear? The spirit council." "What did they want?" "Nothing, just was talking about my spirit protector is all." "I see." "Yeah."
