Chapter six Ascia   “Minthie point of view.” I woke up early today like I´ve been doing this past days. Looking my reflection in the mirror I see how tired I´m. It's been a week since my talk with Bleddyn at the lake. He has been away from me. I always catch him watching me in the distance, like he's analysing me. But he has agreed to help me train and teach me some things. My training begun two days after our chat and Bleddyn has been teaching me some basic fighting moves. I always end up with bruises and scratches but they are part of the learning. And I refuse to give up. Lorcan always sits watching us train and taunting me when Bleddyn knocks me to the ground. We create this type of routine that we have followed throughout the rest of the week. My sister appeared that same day in the afternoon and went straight into her room without speaking to anyone. I know that she goes out every day and goes into the forest and stays there for hours until she comes back hours later like in the base. She did not speak to me again, but the whispers that are heard in her room make me think that she is only ignoring us. It anger me at first. That she would do it again, but when I tried to speak to her she would look at me and ignore me until I gave up. I tried to reach out for her so many times but she kept a straight face and her lips sealed. Enyo has been watching her even though she doesn't notice it. She always tells us that Nadia sits alone for hours in the middle of a clearing to talk to the air. Now I was at the lake. It was a routine of mine to come here and just seat and look at the water. The orange and red reflected in the calm waves of the lake. It was a beautiful down. The threes didn’t even move. There wasn´t even a breath of wind. As the shadows of the night she heard the crunch of the fallen leaves and the scent of Bleddyn cologne. She wasn’t surprised went she felt his presence near her and how his knees brushed against her back as he sat down there in silence. Not wanting to disturb her or try to speak. I turned to look at him and ask him what he was doing there, since early in the morning he told me that he was going to be very busy today and I wouldn't see him all day. When I turned I met his eyes that were also watching me in a penetrating but kind way. I looked away from him and looked at the lake again with a blush and then turned to see it again when a small laugh escaped from his lips. He kept looking at me, this time curious. What a way to keep your eyes fixed, it looked like it was stalking, like a predator. I realized that his gaze did not bother me, in fact it caught and attracted me. Anyway, it wasn't his fault that he had such a pretty look that shone brighter in the sunlight. When the sun was complete gone with a sight I leaned in Bleddyn legs and he squeezed my shoulders, massaging the tension out of my muscle. He has been very close to me these days. Discreetly touching my hands and my hair. Causing those strange sparks that make my stomach churn to rise up and make me shudder every time I hold him close. “Are you hungry?” He asked. I nodded in response not wanting for him to stop the massage. “We should get going. Enyo made a Korean dish and I know you will love it.” Hearing food being named made my belly grumble in approval. Bleddyn pushed me to my feet when I reached for his help. Training so hard when I wasn´t used to it left my muscles sour. He wrapped his arm against my waist and we headed to the house in a comfortable silence. The solidity of his arm was the best thing she´d felt all day. Resting her head against his shoulder I breathed deeply taking his scent. The pine was always there to comfort her and bring peace to her mind. It just amazed her who just the smell of him would trigger such sense of peace to her body and mind. Like if she recognized what being with him felt like. She would often find herself looking for him just to see if he was near her. And she just knows he does the same. That he feels this strange connection to. That he feels the electricity run through their bodies when they touch. Growing up without parents for most of her life and with a sister that she now knew was nagging her, made her think of him like home. Since she left the base he had taken care of her, feed her and even took time of his patrols to teach her how to defend herself. Having him with her now was the best part of all off this. None of them had made a move yet. They would tease each other and play games. Flirt and be touchy sometimes. She wanted to kiss him so bad. Seeing his full red limps so close to her was a temptation. And she just know he would not refuse to it. She used to find him looking at her limps to, licking his own like if he was tasting her. The house was surprisingly welcoming and calm. There was no screams around. What was strange since Lorcan and Enyo are always playing games or making jokes. Which usually end up in them fighting and braking things. When we entered we found out why there was so much silence. Lorcan and Enyo were sitting in the leaving room with another girl. She stood up when she heard us entering and turned around to show the most beautiful face I have seen before. Her round shaped face was as with as Lorcan, some freckles adorned her face. Bright red long hair contoured her face. Her eyes were big bight balls that left me hypnotized. She had an hour glass figure that was covered with a beautiful light green dress. “Ascia.” I heard Bleddyn exclaim. He left my side to go to give a hug to what I knew now was Ascia. “You are back.” He said letting her go.
