(Boom!) “Loud and clear, boys.” Gina Keaton assured. Parade of bombs has been discharged for ensuring everything goes astray against the perpetrator’s batallion from the southwestern side. Heimlich Kessler has put himself prepared for one following bang. He crafted the explosive amidst a huge turmoil across the southeastern part. Within the thickness fume of white smoke, the white-haired guy entered the fray and placed them beneath prior to the confusion grenade that he is about to do next. (boom!) “Lock and loaded from my end.” Heimlich Kessler muttered. However, in contrary to Gina Keaton’s accomplishment, Juno Rumondor boldly yelled to the man exactly in the manner of wrath,”You’re a god-damn fuss, Kess! You’ve got yourself a huge debt, congratulations.” He pouted. “What? How could-“ Heimlich Kessler takes a closer look to the wristwatch’s announcement, then eventually gasped at the number it has been working up with so far,”Oh my lord, I got 20.000? That’s-“ He fell in silence afterwards. “Don’t want to mess with your prize, Kess, but I’m closing in.” Damon muttered,”Thank you for the distraction, by the way.” Damon proceeded to jump on the wall and crawling upon them with ease. It is one of the latest invention from Juno Rumondor within liquid particles sector. The half-zombie could run in similar manner to himself on the ground and make haste for reaching the top of the wall afterwards. Without needed to harm anyone within the wall, Damon could climb up the fortification easily and goes past the fortification shortly after. “I’m in. You can get out from the party, Gina, Kess.” Gina Keaton hastily replied,”Right away. Out of the battle we go, Kess.” She teased, to which the white-haired man stood still in quiet. (swoosh) “Whoa!” A flurry of arrows abruptly appeared from the west. The half-zombie’s blistering speed could manage to avoid all of them at once, yet Damon still has to know such person’s intention to attack him firsthand. If there are enemies to count, his dagger will have to take part and counter-act against such person immediately, or else Frandemulo’s bastion will be surely in danger to taken care of. (tap-tap-tap) As the half-zombie getting nearby, He found the truth almost instantly in a glance. A mark of hip-and gable roof was inscribed on the person’s medium armor. It was adorned before the navy-blue color of the man’s uniform and covered most of the person’s vest in a whole. “You’ve done well, pal. I don’t realize that you can see me.” Damon shared a pat to the man’s shoulder, which was still felt unmindful on the situation addressed. Of course, his small token of appreciation has brought everyone in the transmission to be wild on the half-zombie’s situation, without the man himself knowing of their thought at the time. Juno Rumondor nibbled his nails by the man’s accidental reveal. He searched on Damon’s probable position to muster intelligence across the western area of the wall. “Hey, can you hear me, Damon? Report on your status.” Juno Rumondor requested,”I’ve heard you blabbering about being discovered. I just wanted to clarify on your position, over.” Damon could do nothing but wheezed a little to the captain’s concern,“Ahem, that man must be caught me jumping over the wall’s ledge. He doesn’t see me that much, really.” He ensured,”I’m going to the bottom, now, over.” “Confirmed. Do your business and have fun, Damon.” (swoosh) The half-zombie continues to run down the wall and leaving the bastion archer on his duty above. As expected, none of the buildings could be seen above the ground. The Queen’s palace is the one and only structure erected at the center. No damage appeared on the castle’s body to the extent of Damon’s vision, merely a number of stone’s rubble across the edge. “It’s the palace, I repeat, no other building other than The Queen’s palace at this moment.” Damon reported,”I’ll go inside.” The half-zombie slid open the door in haste. Nobody is at home other than the monarch, apparently, as Queen Aldana herself was sitting on the throne. She holds an odd card in hand and kept swiping its surface to one hideous machine on the left side. No response from the device, however, and it has her infuriated by the no-result outcome afterwards. “I hate General Opis! I hate him so much!” She sulked,”Urgh, if I have the chance, I’ll murder him on the spot!” For a cold icebreaker, Damon showed himself out by furnishing a question to the Queen,“Who’s General Opis?” He asked. To the sudden appearance of the man, Queen Aldana astonished. She almost jumped off her own throne and fell by the surprising demeanor from the half-zombie before her. “Why are you here? Am I asking for reinforcement to your group?” She rattled. “Obviously not. It is our humble service to the person’s hand who feed us yesterday.” The half-zombie politely bowed to the Queen. “So, where’s the others? I’ve seen no souls in the front yard.” Queen Aldana was unable to contain her sadness afterwards. She stares deep into the half-zombie’s eyes with one tiny drip of tears, that flows down in stream at one go. “I...” Her dress has gone from majestic to mush because of the war that happened. Its white-pristine color has been smeared by the dribbles of dust and turned it into mild grey. Queen Aldana seemed having a wreck down under the waist, for her to shred everything below without even thinking of its price at most. Her eyes has a dark circles featured, as well, and it makes everything easier for the half-zombie to deduce on the opponent’s arrival to the city’s front yard. It should be in-between yesterday or two days before, Damon thought so in his mind. No one would have that sort of expression without a lack of sleep in the middle. The Queen’s volatile sense of emotions, her way to look at him up close and methods to walk. Everything that the Queen does seemed relatable to the symptoms he mentioned earlier. After a short-term cooling down from the brisk of panic, Queen Aldana gradually recollected her casual composure of a monarch and glanced at the intruder in bland expression,”Well, to say the least, General Opis is one of Welodge’s top-tier leader. You could say that that man has been on the par with me in terms of ruling.” She said. “And then, what about him? Why’s that man attempted to harrass your country so much?” The Queen pondered about it by looking upon the wooden ceiling above them,”If I tell everything about this, you’ll going to be meddled within Minopia’s political secret, so I want to have your word on this.” She gazed to the man’s heart directly by adamant stare to the pupils. “Do I have to turn off my speaker, too, My Queen?” “If you think every listener there will be a good keeper, do as you wish. I want to share this story for everyone, as long as I could trust them on having one.” Before Damon could even question on their stature to the offer, Juno Rumondor whispered slightly on the speaker,”Don’t kill the transmission, Damon. I’m curious to this issue as much as you do.” He muttered. “So?” “My friends are trustworthy. You can annihilate us from existence if one of us betrayed yours.” Damon replied. “Okay, here goes.” Queen Aldana inhaled. She appeared reserved to tell them of the truth, yet seemingly eager to spill everything out from her mind. “We’re a beach city and also a country, to remind you of our position within this huge kingdom of Minopia. There are advantages of being connected to the blue sea. Firstly, to speak of the matter, is our connection with the world’s end. Militistaro ought to have a real access to the water for a new kind of technology and research. We’re the sole country to have those privilege since our pact has formed.” She looked at the window across the northern side of the palace. It has a direct view to the seashore and the cape that has been resurrected once more by the power of Minopia’s printing technology. However, much to the half-zombie’s knowledge, there were no actual ship parked on the beach last time around. A boat, to be more precise, as the floater seemed quite rather petite to be called as one. The queen then continues,”Secondly, I am suspicious of their weapon technology’s clients. It must be from the foreigners beyond the border of our Minopia right here. We never learned of the land beyond these five distant countries, so there’s nothing in our intelligence for their actual position today. King Taur Minosa has laid a restriction for every city to interact with outside world, and his permission mainly for recruiting talents and customers for the yearly-scheduled game, of course.” “Yeah, I have noticed that in my trial. Somebody must be behind all of this God-forsaken game.” Damon dipped his head in agreement. He was an experiment subject for Taur Minosa’s inhumane desire before, so this particular information has been there for him ever since,”I’m still stuck on deciphering that Taur Minosa’s home, by the way, mind if you elaborate more about it?” (boom!) One of Queen Aldana’s soldier entered the lobby in a hurry. He was injured on one of his arms and legs, but the man’s will has become the one source for him to move around. The soldier’s face has gotten stiff by the horrendous imagery of the warfare, but his reason for breaking into the private land of The Queen is unknown from the start. “My Queen, the gate has been breached! What should we do?” He yelled. For the information that the soldier has brought, Queen Aldana drifts to the nearby window for looking at the news implied. As described by the man, one of the gate’s wooden structure has been demolished by Militistaro’s powerful ramming machinery. They streamed across the open space it has offered and filling up the empty city with hundreds of full-armored soldiers soon after. (grab) Without any order derived, Damon swiftly grabbed Queen Aldana’s left arm and puts it onto his back,“curl your arms around my shoulder, Queen Aldana. We’ll gonna storm out of here real quick with piggyback ride.” He ordered. Instead of protesting, The Queen acknowledged his ideas and attached her other arm to the shoulder and springs up to the man’s clutch below her thigh. “Ugh, your hands quite big, Damon.” Queen Aldana murmured to the half-zombie’s left ear,”How’s an assassin having palms this large, really?” The half-zombie shook to the Queen’s compliment, but having a slight tone of blush imprinted on the cheeks,”This is not important, My Queen. Where’s the place?” “That boat, Damon. We’ll have to go there for crossing the strait.” Yet again, before the half-zombie could muster a word for the team behind the transmission, Juno Rumondor hastily replied,”Don’t worry, we’ll be waiting for you in Altagrada. Please, clear out this objective for us all.” He said. “We’ll be rooting for you, Damon!” Tanya Rushdi seconded her captain’s opinion, before a row of clap followed from the rest of the group afterwards. “All right, time to go, My Queen.” (dash!) In one strike of the leg, the half-zombie jumped out from the window in a blistering speed. Queen Aldana’s small posture has made Damon’s escort mission goes easier than expected. She clings on his broad shoulder tightly while keeping her eyes closed during the speedrun to the boat’s location. Indeed, no matter of the Queen’s desire to unlatch, the wind blows down to both eyes for preventing her on seeing the course nonetheless. A few minutes later, the half-zombie springs up a bit. From Queen Aldana’s shuttered view perspective, Damon has disembarked into the boat, and now attempting to boost her personal driver for a follow-up to escape. However, instead of her actual driver, Damon has been the one to push the control of their boat forward. The half-zombie ordered him to take her inside the cabin, before returning back to the control room for navigating their way to the island in haste.
