If I wanted to hurt her, I wouldn't have held her this long." As I spoke, I slipped the bracelet free. The baby whimpered, probably hungry. Sophia pleaded, "She's hungry. Let me feed her. Please give her to me." "I need you to answer a few questions first. Don't worry. I won't take your child. I have my own." Sophia nodded desperately, ready to tell me anything. "From the time you got together until now, including gifts and the wedding, how much money did Andrea give you?" She met my eyes without hesitation. "He gave me a 500,000-dollar wedding gift and around 400,000 dollars in jewelry.
