“My place?” All she could do was nod and stand up. Tyler stood up after her, grabbed her hand and pulled her against him. “You can say no. I am not going to pressure you into anything that you do not want to do. Will you stay with me tonight? I can sleep on the sofa if that makes you feel more comfortable. I am really enjoying our time together and do not want to have to cut it short because it is getting late.” “We can work out sleeping arrangements later.” Libby gave Tyler a quick kiss and walked back to the bike. He stood stunned for a moment and then followed her. They were headed back to his house in minutes. Tyler was trying everything in his power to keep the bike at the speed limit. What was this woman trying to do to him? He could feel her breasts against his back, her thighs pushed against his. He had imagined this before and now it was actually happening. He could not get back to his house fast enough. With every warm breath on the back of his neck, the speedometer inched higher and higher. She was trying to keep it together. She wanted to be closer to Tyler. She sat closer to him than she really needed to, leaning against him a little more than necessary. Her thighs were against his, opposite of the way they were on the ride out. Libby wasn’t too shy this time to wrap her arms around him and run her hands absently across his chest, though she didn’t dare do it under his shirt while he was driving the bike. Too much of a distraction. Her heart was beating faster as Tyler’s hand was on her knee, slowing rubbing it and giving it a gentle squeeze. Her body wanted him to pull the bike over and take her right then and there on the side of the road, not caring about any cars that may drive by. Her head was being slightly more rational, decided it could wait until they at least got to his house. Tyler parked the bike in the garage and led Libby into the house. “Make yourself at home. Can you give me a minute?” “Sure.” “Kitchen is right through there if you want to grab something to drink or a snack.” “Ok, can I get you anything?” “Beer would be good. Just to confirm, you are staying here tonight, right?” “Did you change your mind? If so, it is totally fine with this being a first date and all.” “No, no. I just wanted to be sure. I still want you to stay. If you want.” “I do.” “Good. I will be right back.” Tyler walked down the hall to where Libby assumed his bedroom was while she went into the kitchen. He closed his bedroom door and sat on the bed for moment He had to clear his head and figure out what the hell he was doing. This was not what he had planned on happening. When she accepted his offer, he was expecting a drink, some conversation, he could drop her off at home with a kiss goodnight and that would be that for the day. This was not the case. Tyler took a deep breath, got up and started rummaging through his dresser. He changed from his jeans into a pair of loose fitting loungers. He was about to pull his shirt over his head when he hesitated. He knew he was not some young stud anymore and wondered how Libby would react seeing his tiny beer gut and gray chest hair. He figured he may as well get it over with now, pulling the shirt over his head and tossing it onto the chair in the corner. Libby walked into the kitchen and was completely blown away. Besides it being about 10 times the size of hers, it was not what she was expecting. Stainless steel appliances and butcherblock countertops were a design that Libby loved. And it was so clean, not even a single cup in the sink. This looked like Tyler had a hand in designing it as it seemed like it would be his style. She was even more shocked when she opened the refrigerator to grab the beers and found it fully stocked. This man was not your average single guy. She wasn’t expecting it to be empty, just not as full as it was. She grabbed them each a beer and went back into the living room. She took off her shoes and set them by the door then made herself comfortable on the sofa. Tyler came walking out a moment later, t-shirt in hand. “Uh, it is entirely up to you but I went and changed into something comfortable and I know we hadn’t planned on you staying here when we left your apartment so you really do not have any clothes here to change into so I got you one of my t-shirts. I think that it may be long enough on you to be considered a night shirt.” “Thank you.” “It is totally up to you if you want to change or if you are comfortable in what you are wearing. Me personally, as soon as I get off work I am in the most relaxing clothes I can find.” “I am the same way. There are somedays I think my bra comes off before my shoes. Where can I change?” “Bathroom is down the hall to the left then straight ahead.” “I’ll only be a minute.” Libby took the shirt from Tyler and made her way to the bathroom. She flipped on the light and stopped dead. Was she in some kind of dream? This guy and this house could not be real. She entered and closed the door behind her. She admired the huge garden tub he had. She has always dreamed of a bathroom this large with a tub like that; relaxing in a bubble bath with a drink and some music just leaving the world behind. Libby noticed his bathroom was just as neat and organized as his kitchen, with everything in its rightful place and nothing haphazardly left out and about. She took off her jeans and t-shirt and neatly folded them and placed them on the counter. She was so glad that she decided to take the extra time to shave and freshen up after work. She pulled the shirt on and Tyler was correct in his assumption. It came down to her knees and covered her to where she would not feel shy or uncomfortable in walking around in it. She went back into the living room and found Tyler flipping through a crate of old vinyl records. “I thought I would put on some music for us for a bit.” Tyler turned around and saw Libby standing in the doorway. “Holy shit.”
