The plane flew low, the sun rise it’s back drop. They had been sleeping in shifts so there was warning if the drop bears returned. The two cars and motorbike had made it in to Willawingi, Ali had called to let Doc know. They had taken the cars and bike out to Richo’s place and hidden them in one of the work sheds. So far it had been quiet there.
As the plane did a final turn before landing, Doc gently roused Blane and Mira. Blane had gotten up and woken Luke but they left Emily asleep.
They watched as the plane touched down and came to a stop. The side doors opened and some people got out and ran over.
The doctor walked over and shook Docs hand.
“One of Beths?” He asked quietly.
Doc nodded. “Wolf.” He mumbled so only the doctor could hear.
