“They’re leaving soon boss. Next stop is Alice Springs. They’re staying at the Diplomat Motel.”
“Good work son, your money will be transferred immediately.” James Wright replied. “Oh, one more thing. Are they married yet?”
“No sir, but they are engaged.”
“See what else you can get out of them before they leave. I’ll double your pay.”
“They’re coming.” The barman whispered as he hung up the phone.
“Hey, there they are!” The bar man clapped as Luke and Emily entered the room. “Ready for some breakfast?”
‘We certainly are.” Emily smiled.
“There are menus on the table, can I get you a coffee or some juice?” The barman asked.
“Juice for me thank you.” Luke smiled as he sat down and picked up a menu.
“Me too.” Emily added as she did the same.
