The Mask: 1

RISE OF THE MASK

Blood stains are all over the floor and walls, doors have been destroyed and dead bodies are everywhere. This room is the room where a mask is devouring students. 2 students have already been eaten and the teacher is unconscious and he is probably the next one to be consumed. The other 2 students who is currently cowering at the left corner of the room near the window and was crying. They don’t know what to do, they don’t even know what they are seeing is. All they know is that this creature they are seeing is a monster, and it will soon turn its attention to them and eventually eat them. And in the faculty room, teachers are all cramped up into a corner like the students, they’ve already called the police, but they’re not sure if the police have heard it well enough since when they called them, screaming can be heard everywhere. It happened when a silhouette appeared at the back of the school, the school janitor approached it since he thought that it just might be a student pulling a prank on him, but he was wrong. The silhouette suddenly pounced at him and started to eat the poor janitor. When that creature is done, he went inside and started to attack students and eventually ended up in the 3rd floor. It turned out into a very unpleasant situation, body of students and teachers are everywhere, everything or anyone that is in the way of this creature has not been spared and all has been slaughtered. And now, this creature is feeding off the students up the third floor, and it is thinking that 3 more people will be enough to fill his tank. Mikey is cramped up in a corner with another girl, they are embracing each other and hoping that they will be spared. These two are also soaked in blood and this experience will leave a permanent trauma. Finally, the monster rose to his feet as he finished eating the 2 students and left nothing but their skeleton, and upon seeing that, the 2 cowering students cried louder. The monster then went to the teacher and started tearing off his limbs and began eating him. It was a truly disgusting scene, no one in their right mind could possibly cope with this in the next few days or maybe forever. This incident will leave a mark that can’t b removed ever. And Mikey’s only hope to survive is Nico who possess a mask himself and is still running towards their school. Mikey regrets slapping Nico, avoiding him all day and not hear his side. She can’t do anything anymore since she is about to die. But she is glad that the last memory of Nico that she will bring into the afterlife is his kiss. His soft and delicious lips that she will be obsessed with if she lives through this and be his girlfriend, but that would be impossible. The monster has now pointed its attention to them and is slowly approaching them. They couldn’t do anything, if they fight it would be useless since this monster is rather invincible. Mikey and the other girl started to throw things near them to the monster, but it just walked unfazed. It then showed his bloody and sharp teeth then stick his tongue out. And this alone terrified them, and now, they’ve lost all hope that they will survive.

“Time for dessert!” growled the monster and slowly reached his hands out to the girls. And the only thing they could do now is scream and cry.

With tears still falling her face, Mikey let out her final words, “I’m sorry, mom, dad, I love you,” then an image of Nico appeared in her thoughts.

That troublemaker form of smile even though he was a weak and coward person who does things peacefully is the reason why she fell in love with him. And she just teared up more

“I love you Nico Richards, and I will always do.” She hushed.

The monster then is about to grab her when it sensed something, but then it disappeared. It continued to grab her when a black figure has suddenly appeared outside the window. That black figure then smashed his way through the window and into the room. And it went inside, it delivered a nasty kick to the other creature. Mikey wondered what that is. She was glad she was alive but when she looked up, she saw another monster that closely resembles the first one, but the difference is, this second monster is black and the first one is brownish. The brown creature has gained his footing then looked at the black figure and roared which was answered by another by the black figure. This brown monster then launched at the black one but the black one easily punched it and made it flew away from them. This black figure was Nico and Sin all merged together. Nico then looked behind them and saw Mikey who immediately widened her eyes. She saw it and she recognized it, she also saw that the other different thing about the 2 monster is that this black one only wears a half mask that is much more like a regular face-mask, while the other have its all face covered.

Nico then opened his mouth that showed Sin’s sharp teeth,

“Run, don’t look back. I’ll take from here. Hurry, because that animal will come back any second now.” Says the black monster with its low growling voice.

Mikey nodded and helped the other girl to stand up. She then walked towards the exit when the other monster emerged from the hole in the wall. But it was luckily stopped by Nico and Sin

“Hurry!” Nico yelled.

The two then ran as fast as they can. Nico broke his hold against the other monster.

“Why are you helping them! You’re one of my kind, you should be helping me to devour them. And I am generous enough to give you one!” the other monster bellowed.

But Nico and Sin just smiled “Let me ask you a question, do you work for a white mailman i***t?” Nico asked.

The brown monster laughed “Like hell will I ally myself with them! Screw them!” it yelled.

Nico and Sin then unleashed their sharp claws “Then I’m free to slaughter you!” they said then launched at the monster and a fight broke out.

This fight was unexpectedly one-sided. Nico and Sin were expecting a much more difficult fight, but this one is easy. Despite devouring dozens of people, this mask is still lower than the level of Nico and Sin is right now. The fight ended as Nico and Sin had pinned the monster down and it is not able to fight anymore. It turns out that this monster was over fed and it can’t fight at its full capacity since he hadn’t digested those he devoured earlier, but for Sin, this was an absolute win as he would also be able to get himself a decent meal that would make them stronger.

“You’re going to tear my mask off, right?” the brown monster asked.

But Sin and Nico just smiled. Nico is against eating masks since Sin explained to him that he would also be able to taste it, but he had no choice. It is either eat this mask or let it free.

So, Nico obviously stick with eating it.

“Before you can consume me, may I ask the name of my victorious opponent? Not the name of the host nor the mask, I want to know your name as one. By the way, I’m the Ghost.” Says the monster.

Nico had never thought naming their merged form, but it seems that Sin doesn’t mind. So, Nico tried to come up with their name.

“Our name as one is The Mask.” Both Nico and Sin said.

They then teared the mask of this monster off and opened their mouth and devoured the monster who has eaten a lot of students and teachers. And now, the nightmare of students has ended but did it really? But one thing is certain, the mailman was watching from afar and is on his white monster form. Alongside him was some of his monster comrades with half masks. And they are now aware of it, this is day when their most formidable enemy has emerged. This is the rise of the monster who is The Mask.
