NOW MY GIRLS ARE DEAD!

"Isolo what did you add to my children's food, that landed them in this place? Ohh, you want to have your revenge on my children, and make me childless. Hmm, your useless and selfish plan would never work. Have you forgotten that you can never kill my children and go Scott free" Mrs Henry lamented.

All this while, Isolo stood at a corner of the ward and was silently praying and crying, because she knew that if anything happens to the children, she'd be in big trouble. She was shivering really bad.

Shortly, the doctor came in to administer the medical treatment which was activated charcoal to absorb the toxins from the children's body. After administering it, he shook his head in negation.

Mrs Isolo knew that her world had ended when she saw the disappointing look on the doctor's face. The doctor asked her to meet him in his office.

While there, her heart ❤️ kept on pounding in her chest. She knew that the doctor could hear her heart beat loudly.

"Doc.. to..r, wh..at is hap...pen..ing?" Mrs Henry stuttered.

The doctor kept quiet for a while, shaking his head, feeling sorry for the pitiful mother in his office.

" Doctor what is it? Tell me what is happening to my children" she kept on asking surprisingly calm, expecting the worst.

"Doc..tor, you're scaring me oo"Mrs Henry said with tears and frustration written boldly in her eyes.

" Madam calm down" he kept quiet for some minutes, before continuing "With the look of things, your children's chances of survival have been reduced to the lowest minimum, so they may not be able to survive." The doctor said.

" Chimooo..." she shouted in agony.

" Isolo has finally killed me" she immediately ran out of the doctor's office to the direction where Isolo was sitting and pounced on her, giving her the beating of her life.

The nurses joined in separating them.

Isolo was crying and kept on pleading that she was innocent.

Few minutes later the doctor walked to where Mrs Henry was.

"I'm sorry madam, we lost them." The doctor said and asked the nurse with him to take the dead bodies to the mortuary.

Mrs Henry started crying and was still laying accusing fingers on Isolo.

Then, Mr Henry walked in to join them at the hospital 🏥.

"My husband, we have lost our three children, our three girls are dead." She broke the sad news to her husband in tears.

"When I told you that this girl is a bad luck, when I told you that she could kill, that she is a harmful and deadly creature, you refused to believe me and always took her side, now my beautiful three daughters are gone forever. Our children are at the mortuary"Mrs Henry said bitterly.

All this while as she was talking, Mr Henry her husband, stood there quiet and in shock, as he was still trying to digest the sad news that had befallen his family.

" Isolo, what did you do to the children? Speak now, or you would spend your entire life in prison." Mr Henry asked with a disappointed look on his face.

Isolo immediately narrated everything that had happened to him but, it seems Mr Henry couldn't believe all that Isolo said. He was simply torn between who to believe and what's not believe.

" Don't listen to whatever that miserable thing is saying, she intentionally poisoned my lovely children to get her revenge."Mrs Henry said with anger.

At this time Mr Henry was already furious and was trying to control his anger, so as not to explode, he couldn't believe that his children were forever gone. How would Chibuchi take the news?

" SHUT UP" he commanded.

" if you had been nice to this girl from the start, nothing of such could have happened to this children, this children died as a result of your foolishness and nonchalant attitude. Now my kids are forever gone "He said before breaking down in tears.

All this while Isolo was still standing at the corner of the ward, crying her eyes out and expecting the worst.

Mr Henry cleared the hospital bill and promised to take his children dead body home to bury the next day.

At home, Chibuchi was already going crazy.

"Mum, stop this joke. Dad, you guys should stop this joke, it's to expensive." Chibuchi said as she was faced with the shocking truth. Her siblings were gone, like gone. No, it must be a stupid joke.

"Chibuchi, Isolo has killed all your siblings." Mrs Henry said with bitterness in her voice. She was angrily throwing daggers at Isolo with her eyes. Isolo was crying.

"Would you stop accusing the poor Little Isolo. Isolo now start narrating everything that happened in detail."Mr Henry said with authority.

"Sir, I would and cannot tell a lie. I was sleeping when madam woke me up and asked me to prepare rice. I sleepily walked to the kitchen to cook. After cooking, I dished it for Somtosi, Akuchi and Nnenna. Halfway through the food, madam called me and slapped me. She accused me of poisoning her children, because, they were complaining of stomach aches. Before long, they started vomiting blood, which made madam take them to the hospital where you met us."Isolo said with tears majestically rolling down her eyes.

"Liar! You added poison to their food. Rice can't kill! You wanted to have your revenge on my mother and my sisters, so you decided to kill them! Ahhh, Isolo, how heartless could you be."Chibuchi screamed at Isolo at the top of her lungs.

Mr Henry could do nothing but sigh. He left the house 🏠, to a lively place that would make him forget his sorrow for a while.

At home, Mrs Henry and Chibuchi flogged the living hell out of Isolo. As if not enough, she locked Isolo outside the house and went to bed 🛏️ with Chibuchi. Luckily, Mr Henry came back at the right time.

"Ah, who could be outside my house by this time of the night."He asked himself, wondering who that person was. He went nearer, and found out that it was Isolo. He tapped her.

"Who is this? Pls let me be, leave me alone."She said as she ran back in fear, thinking that it was one of those street's rogue.

"Isolo what on earth are you doing outside the house by this time. Come, let's get inside."Mr Henry said extending his hand to Isolo in a drunken state.

"Ah, oga, I'm sorry, I never knew that it was you."Isolo said, following him inside the house after he had unlocked the door to the house.

"Go and sleep." He commanded her.

"Good night sir." She said before heading to her place of rest.

Isolo lay on her mat thinking about her mom.

"Is she still alive? If yes, why hadn't she called to ask about my upkeep. Good God, why did you take away my father from me? Why am I not wanted here? Being dead is better than living." Isolo lamented in tears.

***FLASHBACK***

Isolo mum who is Mrs Joy was discussing with a woman who is strange to Isolo. After the strange woman had gone, Mrs Joy called Isolo.

"Isolo, where are you. Have you finished cooking?" Mrs Joy asked her.

"Yes ma, I'm done." Isolo said.

"Isolo, did you take a look at that woman whom I've been talking to?" Mrs Joy asked her.

"Yes ma, but I can't recall seeing her before now" Isolo replied.

"You see, she lent me a big loan which we spent on feeding. Now, I've no means to repay it. So, I've decided that you would go and live with her and be her house help for a while" Mrs Joy said while staring at Isolo.
