HAZEL’S POV It was official. I was a coward. A grade A, not-so-pathetic, still sexy coward. Gone was the no-nonsense, no-s**t-taking, badass Hazel. I had become the girl who avoided and ran from her issues. And that was exactly what I did when I woke up this morning. Late, of course. I had dressed up with my eyes swollen up like saucers, a God-awful, pin-pricking headache and my heart, filled with an ache, as if a part of it was missing.
