Hazel’s POV It was late in the evening when Aiden returned. During his absence, I had spent my time arranging the remaining luggages, and placing them in the car. “Are you ready?” Aiden had asked as he sauntered into the cabin, grabbing the keys from the kitchen counter table, and looking around. His shoulders were tensed up and he had a scowl on his face as he locked the back door. “Are we still leaving?” I asked. Pausing, Aiden turned around as he looked at me, “Of course,” “Right now, in fact,” he added. What had happened? I wondered. Crossing my arms against my chest, I shrugged as I walked out, and headed for the car. Silently, I watched as Aiden loaded up the car with our bags and then we hopped in.
