After we dropped Sadie off at the side of the road we made our way to the territory to the West. They were the closest to get to and they had a better relationship with the territory to the South than we did. Our hope was that if we made a good impression and could effectively plead our case then they would be willing to take our people in if they wandered into their territories.
We were lucky enough that some of their most loyal soldiers I had trained with and become close friends with while in bootcamp. Nothing like going through hell together to create a strong brother in arms relationship. Some of these men I was closer to than even my own twin and that was because of some of the messed up s**t we had gone through together.
