A Breath Of Relief

Walking through the front door, I had no idea what to expect. Closing the front door, I walked into the living room, I felt relieved that I didn't see my parents right away, and I plopped down onto the couch.

"Nina....Nina sweetie, is that you." my mom pleaded as she rushed into the living room and pulled me into a warm embrace. "OH my sweetheart, I'm so terribly sorry about Chad and April." my mom said with a sincere voice. holding back my tears, I pulled back to look at her. "I'm.....I'm okay, Mama, I promise, I've already spilled enough tears over them, and they are not worth anymore of them." I replied, giving her a half-hearted smile that didn't quite reach my eyes. Of course, I was still hurt by the situation because the people I cared about hurt me in an unforgivable manner. Rage filled me when I thought about them, I wanted to get revenge. I wanted to hurt them as much as they hurt me. No, I'm better than they are, I won't stoop down to their level. taking a deep breath, shaking my head, dismissing those thoughts. I looked at my mother, who had a questionable look on her face. "So, tell me about this Tyler Hunt guy." Mom asked. Oh sh*t here it comes she knows something. "What....What do you mean?" I asked more guilty than I meant to sound. "Well, it's just I really don't know this boy at all, then all of a sudden he's answering your phone, telling us that your boyfriend cheated on you and your sleeping on his couch and that your in good hands, so Nina in your words what happened?" my mother asked, concerned

"Well, I went to the party last night to surprise Chad, and Tyler had told me that he saw that Chad went upstairs with April." fighting back the tears in my words. "I... I rushed up stairs and found them in bed together, I was so hurt, Mama." I said as tears filled our eyes. "I told them off and rushed down stairs where I ran into Tyler and he took care of me and he ended up punching Chad in the face and kicking him out of his house and we ended up talking all night and I fell asleep on his couch and was it." I said almost out of breath with my heart beating in my ears. Leaving out the part where me and Tyler had fooled around. My mom took my hands into hers. "Well I'm glad that Tyler was a good friend and helped you during a terrible experience, again babygirl I'm so sorry. I thought your dad was gonna run out of this house to teach Chad a thing or two when he found out, but I stopped him and told him it wouldn't do much good if he got in trouble for that boys actions." mom said half giggling. I was so grateful to have such an understanding mom that never judged me but actually sat down and listened and helped me get through it. Giving my mother one last hug, I headed up stairs, I was in desperate need of a shower and just relax after a very interesting night. just as I gathered my change of clothes and walked into the bathroom I felt my phone starting to buzz. Picking up my phone, I looked at the screen, and it was a text from Tyler

"Hey there beautiful, I haven't stopped thinking about you since you left today, I want to see you again tonight. I hope you will come." Tyler wrote. I felt butterflies in my stomach and felt like I could float on clouds. "Yea that sounds good, what time should I head over?" I texted back

" I'll come pick you up, I'm sure your parents would like to meet the guy that their daughter stayed with last night ;)"

Oh my God I hope they don't embarrass me or ask to many questions. "Um, Sure okay I can't wait." I relied back

"I'll pick you up around 7 gorgeous, see you then " Tyler wrote

My heart started to beat so fast that I thought it was gonna burst out of my chest. I was so excited to see Tyler again so soon and maybe pick up where we left off this morning. As I hopped in the shower I couldn't help but think of all the naughty things I wanted to do with Tyler. Maybe I'll even let him take my virginity, hell, I didn't care, all I know is I wanted more. When I was satisfied with myself, I grabbed my notepad and decided to draw while I waited for the time for Tyler to come pick me up. UGH, this was going to be the longest few hours of my life, but it's going to be oh so worth it when I get my arms around him. For the first time, I felt so sexy and couldn't wait to explore my deepest darkest desires.
