I forced my saliva back down my throat, avoided giving in to the allure of food, and turned aside.
I am so hungry that I am on the verge of losing my mind.
I have been supplied with pure water throughout the day, but I have not been given any nourishment.
I collapsed into the bed without making a sound.
I open my eyes, and they are brimming with weakness, and the whole environment is in a trance.
I thought desperately, will I die?
Sean Matthews reportedly promised that he wouldn't let me pass away. Is that true? I have my doubts about it.
I can't die. I have children to take care of. How am I supposed to give up on them?
Because I was hungry, I was sluggish to reply, and even when I realized someone had entered the room, I did not answer at all.
